Day 51

Not much change from last week. Plant 1(left) has a fair bit of frosting going on that doesn't show too well on pics. Plant 2 had a deficiency that hopefully I seem to have stopped. If plants look different it is because I rotate the pots 180 degrees every time I water.

Looking great man I was going to build a different grow box and wanted it shorter I have one now at 56 inches do you think 46 inches would work well if I bend them down more?

I’m in no way an expert, but if you can keep the light the same distance from the canopy as you are now I can’t see what the difference would be.

I suppose it depends on the light if it would cause problems if you were closer. If you were to say drop your light a couple if inches now and see what happens it would give you an idea of how close you could get before they don’t like it.

My light is far too powerful for my box, but i wanted to be able to use it if I ever get a tent, so went big and dialled it down. Then I won a Samsung strip, and made it even more powerful lol.

Day 50.. Wats your guy's thoughts on this?? The lady's been up 18/6 lights cycle so there's a lot of vegs/flower going on. But then again this is my first Autos grow.. The one gallon pots were way to small for These pants have potential.. But here you go fellas lay it on me.. LolView attachment 4290992
Looks a healthy enough plant to me to say it is your first auto

You are only a day or so behind me so my pics will give you something similar to compare against, BUT I am in much bigger pots and running 24/0.

I seem to be a bit in front maturity wise, but you have a bigger plant. It will be interesting to see how long yours takes to go full term at 18/6 compared to mine. We have different lights but it will be good to see how much difference the extra hours of light make. That's the beauty of comparatives, you can see how different methods can have an effect on the grow without having to do all the experiments yourself.

I run 24/0 as I grow in a freezing cold garage. Is there any reason why you went with 18/6? Not saying any way is right or wrong, just me being curious.

I would say 20 and 4 is better then 18 6 just because there life cycle is to short that is only my opinion. Secondly I would go nothing less then two gallons of dirt five is optimum I feel for autos but everyone's look so good great job people

This was a few days ago. They are now just beefing up I'm very happy with how fast these are
Looking good. 20/4 is not a bad I idea I agree with a lot of stuff your saying. But I'm doing 18/6 only bc I have them in my vegs room and that the lights cycle in there. I feel like 6 Hr is a enough down time.

Yeah man I wanna the difference in 24/0 I would imagine that would stress out the plant crazy. But who knows I wanna the difference Forsure.. But yeah I gotta check out your plant.
And I also think the different lights would make a difference. I have mine under a 50W light nothing crazy just a cheap light from Amazon that cost me bout 30 bucks.. But it seems to b doing the job.. Lol

Yea they do the job. I have done them 24 hours on 20 hours on and 18 I found the best for me doing either the 24 or the 20. But everyone's setup is different if u have a 50 w only I would do the full 24 because it will need all the light it can get but then there is the if nothing broken dont fix it lol

@C-theGrower, Nothing wrong with cheap lights mate, if it means you can grow your own they are worth using.

I was using £3 standard household led lightbulbs for the last few years. Can’t get much cheaper than that! But they meant i could keep my wife pain free, so they did their job.

My draughty concrete garage is going from roughly 0-10C at the moment. I got ice on the INSIDE of the windows the other day! No way can I heat the garage and I can’t get a heater in the cabinet at the moment, so 24/0 is the best way to keep the plants warm.
