Anyone have any experience with either of these led brands I've found them on eBay and there reasonably cheap ..... I've used marshydro leds and had good results with them but these are twice as much power as what I've used and I'd like to go back to a 5x5 in the future I'd pack it up and kee it for the day I return to my tent
From what I understand the omega is a few points lower umol per joule than my omega 3.0 but your getting more total light output out of that on full whack cuz it's 720w.

The other will be much the same.

I got a mate of mine on a couple of em , bit cheaper than those but can't find them anymore... however he's happy with them so far.

I'd say overall they should be on par with the original Quantum boards (v1) but have better spread.

For what they cost I'd take the chance on them.
My omega Is a great light, I've just bought 3 more phlizon 640s , got them for £275 each.

The FD6000 caught my eye they're a steal at £275 that's less than 50p a watt with Samsung lm281 chips.
Crazy isn't it.

Think they were advertised as fd6500 @ £309 but go down in price the more you get and are actually fd6000s, same as my other one.

The add is very confusing though.
I had to message them to get confirmation on exact size and wattage just to be sure.

2 of em are for another mate.

See that's the problem.
Lot of light and not enough heat.

Though I typically veg with MH, I've found with LED it's best to hit them with 25%, then 50% as they get used to it at 18/6. Then 100% on flip to 12/12

You would actually get better growth at lower intensity because your not trying to drive so hard they get all stressed.

Issue though is getting temp up at lower power.

In your shoes I'd raise the light higher, reduce hours of light if your not already at 18/6 but get up to 82-85f range.

Increasing the nutrients is a band aid but should help because the low temp means they aren't drinking enough to absorb enough nutrients to keep up.

It's crazy prices indeed, i considered buying one just to put aside but I couldn't justify spending money on lights.

Black and red.

Cheers bud.
I know a bit of the region and the strains but those two selections idk balochistan province is pakistan/iran its hardy plants supposedly thats where friesland comes from as the old heads used to see hash from there in the dam fairly regularly about the time sssc come out with that who knows tho i think plants from this region vary from kush type to stuff like mazar iranian khorosan pakistani mardan the big ones are probably turkestani in origin so from the Uighurs way back so if its the big type watch for hieghts and stretch if its the kush type ul be in for fairly easy ride start em in seed compost not in grow soil its too rich and feed well light these plants proly never seen real fertiliser proly just odd bit of manure n such and grow in rocky dirt rather than soil so i imagine they be very drought ressistant idk about mould resistant but for sure they can take cold fine it gets cold at night and in winter there so aye

Unfortunately a lot of shops will push whatever company they or their supplier has deals with.

Same im still set in my ways with hps for now lol
I've still a place in my grow for HID my seedlings are under a 400w mh atm.

I moved them into the flowering tent at the weekend, I badly needed the space now they're getting on a bit.

About 3 weeks ago I ordered a 315w cmh but after thinking about it more I couldn't justify the £60 on more lights, I've got 250w/1000w in mh/hps and 400v 1000w de so I cancelled the order.

When I need heat I'm just going to use the hid then when enough power is required I'll mix the two.

I reckon the mix of the two lights will be pretty good mate plus makes sense using the hid for heat as an when needed as well

Yh I've looked at the phlizons the more I look into a new light fixture the more I get intrigued and find new ones to contemplate ..... I thought at that price a 720w led fixture is a bargain
