Ain't that the truth. Like riddle said, stick around and check out some of our grows, gets a little off topic every now and then but what the hell. That purple bitch is a leggy pheno of some F1's from a friend in CO called Purple Rain which are (Trainwreck-arcata x Durban Poison) x (White Widow) And I also grew some of his F1's called Isis which are (Trainwreck-arcata x Durban Poison) x (AK-47)] x (White Widow). I have a mom of each and some of there clones going. The purple bitch are some beans from a friend in MI who ran P/R and did some breeding and sent me a few.

The pics of your ladies look nice yummy. Well done.

Ya know, in the end we are all looking to achieve the same result no matter which way we choose to get there.

Peace

Good article +rep. But... you say to soak the roots for 7-10days. What exactly does the effect of starving the plant of oxygen and making it produce alcohol have on your plant?
Does it increase production? Or benefit the plant it any way?

It starts the fermentation process while the plant is still alive, it makes 7 days in the jars (cure) taste like 30

I'm kinda sick right now, and a little bit out there too.. so I think I read this carefully enough.. but I may be being a dumbass..

Soooo.... I have a plant ready to harvest in about 7-10 days.. if I dig the tupperware 30 gallon tupperware trash can out..

Fill it with water to OVER the soil.. or at least close.. then 'drown' the thing without getting the top wet.

Leave her in there for 7 days with the lid on the can so it is dark..

And then harvest..

That's the gist?

Because I do have a plant ready to go.... that's it? Drown her roots for about 7 days in the dark and then harvest?

---

What if she isn't quite ready to go yet, but you know in about 7-10 days it is harvest time.. would I do it now a bit unripe, and it will ripen a bit on it's own.. or would I wait till ripe and then do it?

If you don't mind the question.. thanks.

Everyone knows that I love a good debate and the sharing of positive info, and I have been involved in several here (I also love reading all of UB's debates as they are always very entertaining) I have always tried to keep em going in a positive direction, sometimes I fail but even then it seems that good stuff comes from em, which is the main reason for debate to begin with and I also agree that I do not follow commercial/blackmarket grow styles I'm more about making the herb better for medical reasons I have never been concerned with yields or bulk I'm after that bud that kicks your ass and makes you say whoa I've had enough (most of my stuff does this as independantly reported by other members in my threads, not trying to toot my own horn LOL) and I will keep on doing/trying new things to seek even better buds.

the rain thing works and so does the drowning thing lots of others here are doing it, not one has ever reported that it didn't work???
I can personally attest that RM3's weed is kick fucking ass!! And rain works...

im pretty sure that sulfer and phosphorous are the same thing correct me if im wrong
They are indeed not the same however dependent on the source when either sulfur or phosphorous are utilized by the organism sulfur or phosphorous is "freed" to also be absorbed by it...this occurs with the majority of elements as most are contained in compounds and processes must occur to "free" them for absorption by the organism

IMO sealing it in a trash can is asking for mold, like someone said just turn off the lights :)

I believe somewhere in your thread it was mentioned that daniels was getting good results with just 4 days right? Or was that you? Don't remember.

Hey everyone reading this, I would like to clarify my intent here,,,,,,,,,,,,

I did not put this up to convince you that you should not flush, I say to all growers, Do what you do, do what works for you

my intent was to stop the bad info being spread about it. IMO new growers here deserve to be told the TRUTH, not some myth that has evolved over years of being spread around for whatever reason.
