I'm here. A little late, but I'm here. Sounds like you got the "white fuzz" issue under control.

Taking clones from clones will work. Several breeders have taken clones from clones from clones all the way up to 100 and something times, without any loss of quality or genetics.

yeah im not too concerned right now about the white fuzz. its not overtaking anything, that and its been with the grow since day 1 practically... yet to have an issue, if it does become an issue... oh well! haha i have a huge harvest coming up from my tree grow. (update on the other journal following this one)

speaking of which... not sure if you all are subscribed to my other thread, but its become a bit of a "tree" grow, maybe more like a "hedge" haha.
here's the link Shack's Closet WaterFarm Grow. Just did an update, check the next to last page for photos. The plant flowering in that journal, is where the clones for this AG grow came from.

hey shack you are using the fox farm liquid hydro nutes right? i tried to find the answer but i could not
No i'm sticking with the Gen Hydro FloraNova (Grow/Bloom) line, and the Floralicious (grow/bloom) additivie. They are AWESOME!!

I enjoy them, and their payoff. The plant seems healthier than with the Gen Hydro FloraSeries line (which i started the mother on)

so... no signs of sex, and they are already out of control.. i'll take pictures tomorrow when lights are on... i have them on transition strength nutes, i want them to be flowering soon so they can stay relatively small and manageable. will 24 hours + bloom nutes force them to flower (they have been on 12/12 just shy of two weeks)

any thoughts and words. thanks!!

You can't FORCE her...

just do your bloom nutes and 12/12... and leave them alone...

Fuck around too much and you're gonna end up with a drag queen in your harem..

Just my thought...

sounds good to me gypsy!! so there is no concern about nutrient deficiencies? given they are wanting to veg and not flower? they won't be missing anything? just give them a "hint" that its time to flower???

don't leave me gypsy!!

You are trying to get way too technical on a subject that neither of us knows shit about...

Let's forget our western culture for a second...

Let us do as the Orientals and the Eskimos...

Instead of going closer in.. dissecting and analyzing everything individually...

Let's take a BIG step BACK... and look at the whole picture..

They will only flower when they are good and ready to flower...

and maybe they will refuse to flower and die...

but somehow, I believe they will do their best to survive and pro-create (flower) with the conditions you give them...

Give them a nice stable environment... and they will thrive...

Keep fucking with them and they will get stressed....

I say to do what I do...

when you want to flower a plant that has been in veg...

You flush with lots of clean water...

add bloom nutes ... give her 12/12... and that is it...

change the res in 2 weeks... keep up with "shade farming" so you don't waste energy feeding "siestas in the shade"...

but you should leave the alone...

I do not even touch my plants in the SOG...

maybe in rearranging due to height...

but I have plenty of plants that see my face at the day of transplanting,... and not again until I have scissors in my hands...

I know my op is different... but not really... my clones go into my SOG very small..

So yeah it's big... but it's not... it's just numerous..

75% of my plants could fit in the AG 4 or 5 at a time...:-P

Anyways...

I didn't sleep good..sorry if I'm rambling...

looks good shack... I like it...!!:clap:

I'd say you could remove the fan leaves that are coming off the main stem , just below where the branches come off...

If the branch is less than 1" long leave the fan leaf there...

but if the fan leaf is "feeding" a whole branch.. snip it and it will clear things a bit...

hit me up if you got questions... don;t go crazy... just a few to open up some light and some air flow...

...

why not get a 250 hps from the electrical supply place?

one light is easier to cool than a bunch...

and it would give you better buds... than 250w cfl...

and you know you're gonna add more and more...

keep the ones you have for side lights...

just a thought though...

thanks for the drop in gypsy! glad to hear you're proud
interesting you advise to trim a little but not go crazy... the LST you see is AFTER i had already trimmed a PILE of growth... they went out of control!!

anyhow, as i've already removed much of the leaf surface, i'm probably only going to snip a few large leaves, one or two here and there to maintain a somewhat canopy.

any thoughts why leaves are 3 bladed?? none 5 at all really.. i don't believe.
it might just be the strain, the momma flowering in my other thread is going 3 bladed on me as well.. hmmph?!

as far as bulbage goes... i'm considering a BABY!! 50-150 W HPS mainly because of the space i have to grow in... might be getting one of those cheap storage cabinets from target or walmart, and if thats the case i need to keep heat down, and i don't think a 250 closed in one of those would be easy to cool... have a pretty basic exhaust system planned...:roll::blsmoke:

anyway... 50-150 HPS yay or nay??

You are doing real good!!!! :hump:

I usually trim those leaves I mentioned off of my moms to allow for better light and ari flow... and I see a few in the pics...

these are the only ones I would remove... the ones that are "feeding" a whole branch...

Go with what you know... you are doing super...

it will eventually get over it...

it was cloned.. stressed... it will get it's groove back on eventually...

I have some revegs that have only 1 blade... stayed like that for months.. then started making regular leaves again...

250HPS with DIY cool tube...

ANY cab that you can fit a 150.. you can fit a 250...

trust me dude... you will upgrade...

you are already... skip a couple of steps... it will save you cash and give you better buds...

Remember I had my 600 in a 20"x36"x54" tent...

it can be done..

They look much happier then last time I seen them. If you can control the heat I'd go with a 250w as well. Like Gypsy said, just skip an upgrade step.

as far as cooling one of these 250s... stealth is an issue... i plan to do a smaller version of your cab Doc. well my way, but similar furniture, just a shorter version for scrogging in the AG. What about fans.. i need something that can keep it quiet. Gypsy your sketch uses 3 different fans, from what I've heard, those blower fans for cool tubes get LOUD..

thoughts Doc, Gypsy, ANYONE?!?! haha good morning RIU!!

you are going to have the same issue with any size bulb in an enclosed space...

you need 2 fans... intake is optional...

if you skip on your ventilation, it will be nothing but problems mid grow...

do it right Shack... build the cab that will give you kick ass buds for a long time...

but you need to get rid of the heat...

GypsyBush

also... big fan at half speed is way quieter than little fan at full blast...

and you can build an insulated box for your fan...
