Outdoor full organic current grow from Australia full of worms and all and they are on autopilot all the way through to flower I add wormjuice seaweed and bat guano my EM1 and thats it. A scientist did uncover EM1 potential and brought it to third world countries for agriculture so thank you science. This thread is teally good great subject!

Bro science and the people exploiting it are the problem. "Science" simply means learning through observation and experiment (the scientific method). Think and observe for yourself and growing cannabis becomes a lot cheaper.

From an economic, and stress reducing point of view I agree, but I'm just growing for me and to give to
friends in need.
I think too many people get in the "look what I have" and "don't waste your money on anything but the best" mindset
especially when giving advise to new growers. It's too bad.
You don't need to spend 10 grand to grow a few oz's of decent smoke.

I think it's the "commercial" growers of the last ten years doing this more than the home growers. Home growers tend to use what they have. I worked for a commercial grower whose philosophy was to spare no expense, top-end everything, THOUSANDS on bottled nutrients every month. The hydro store saw this guy coming a mile away. He was getting pretty good results, but nowhere near top-end. Dude was an already rich kid who learned to grow when cannabis was going for $3,500/lb but IMO having everything became a crutch. It definitely started to show in his harvests. Quality changed with the seasons because he couldn't adjust his methods to properly respond to the plants.

Sexy nugs here :)

I've been recently able to switch from 130w of cheap China led's to 400w of HID (The 600w trips the breaker lol) so I'll hopefully be able to go from 90 grams to about 300 grams. My limiting factor is however height. 24 inches of usable height. Mainlining exclusively to create a scrog effect.
This time I've decided to take all my bagseeds and just grow out whatever ends up female. I've had so many seeds that there is no incentive to buy quality genetics. Maybe I could hit 600 grams if I used a renowned high yielder. But I'll have to learn my potential with the HID.
