The other day was the beginning of the most exciting time of this newbie grower's life. I received my very first package of feminized seeds from Nirvana to start my first grow of EXCLUSIVE SHEEEEIIIT!!!:hump:

This journal is to document the growth cycle of these seeds.

Feel free to comment. Feel free to make suggestions...

I bought a camera for the sole purpose of posting pics of my babies...

ENJOY!!:weed::weed:

Now, our VERY first grow was from bag seed and were all boys (damnit). Didn't know for sure...until my allergies let me know there was POLLEN in the air.

Our second grow is also bag seed, but they are the beginning of a cycle. Princesses are a part of it and will continue one through clones and stuff.

Would appreciate advice on making sure the cycle works and keep us knee-deep in all 'dro we can smoke. :blsmoke:

However, here are some more pics of our Princesses:

1. pic of our seeds germinating
2. pic of our ghetto-ass incubator lol

Good luck with this.....I usually dont follow too many journals but I like your avatar. So I'll keep up w/yours.

Kinda Pam Grier'ish.

Both of our princesses (seeds) popped in less than 24 hours and have been placed on their thrones (aerogarden). :hump:

We just started our first week of nutes: 3ml of "grow", 2ml of "micro", 1ml "bloom". PPM reads at 400. Although the guide says it should be 246, we will adjust if necessary. PH is 5.9 to 6.0. Humidity domes are placed over the newly sprouted seeds until they pop the surface of the rockwool.

Now, on to the viewables:

1. Little seeds poppin', big thangs startin'...(sorry for the blurry pic)
2. Placing seed into the rockwool
3. After MUUUUCH adjustment and cussin'...the ph is FINALLY acceptable.
4. Seed 1 placed snuggly into the aerogarden slot.

Hmm, I hear mixed results on this, but mostly i hear not to use nutes for the first 2 weeks. They are still too young
Your pH seems just a little low, try and boost it to around 6.5
Other than that, lookin good

WE HAVE A SIGHTING!!!

Our first Princess has made an appearance and is steadily growing! She has been named "Cindy" (URRR...Cinderella). We eagerly anticipate her sister's appearance...Sister's root can be seen, but she hasn't appeared juuuuust yet.

Cindy on the other hand, has a long tap root and is stretching her first leaves...

(BTW, our bag seeds are OUTTA CONTROL!! They are growing tremendously and STANK all to hell.)

1. First pic of Cindy...Ain't she CUTE???
2. Cindy in her dome...
3. Cindy's sister's root.
4. Cindy's root.
5. Bagseed's progress (pic 1)
6. Bagseed's progress (pic 2)

Yep, rockwool works for growing in an aerogarden...

Upcoming: Can't wait to get new ph meter this weekend and considering options for stench seeping from the flowering room...Also, may need some help sexin' 'em. :-D

The title caught my eye...cause I am a 'silly girl.' :)

This is going to be very exciting for you.:)

We havin' problems, y'all:

With our bag seeds (currently in flowering). On the ends and parts of the edges of our leaves are turning yellow/white. Can't figure out what is going on. Pics are attached. If you can give us some suggestions...it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Sad to report the loss of a Princess:

Cindy's sister never saw the light of the aerogarden. We had such high hopes, but her root was too weak and broke off completely and she had to be laid to rest. Good news...Cindy was joined by two new sisters on the aerogarden-throne...We'll see how that goes. Cindy herself seem to be thriving and is growing very well.

New shyte:

Just bought a digital ph meter. It's currently being calibrated as I type this entry. Hopefully, this will help ease the readings...that drop crap was getting old.

1. A leaf from the bag seed grow
2. Sex?
3. Leaves from bag seed grow...See how they are curling and yellow?

You need an expert in her now. Get fdd. closet cult, Garden Knowm, potraost. caligrown etc. If the leaf were turning like that at the end iI might say no problem, this one start at the center and goes out, indicating a problem with nutes. This could be ph, I doubt that as you have a digital ph meter, salt build up, salt lock out, over nute, what you described sounded right, I assume some knowledge. The plant picture, as you pointed out is curling on the end, and my old eyes can't tell if it looks like 'burn' or 'puppy skin, which is usually caused by heat stress, Didn't see that from your lights. You do need quick good answers, wish I could see better. Pm one of em, tell I sent ya, if they are busy filthy fletch might be around too. VV

Updated pic:

1. Bag seed aerogarden grow

Question: How do you get the males out without fuckin' up the root system?
