No my friend, please let me clarify. I recommend A&B at 50-75% (I say 75% because I feed them 75% last night) and then products such as : Roots Excelurator, Algen Extract, Cell Splitter, Multizen, Bud XL, Top Booster, Shooting Powder, and Drip Clean I recommend being ran at 100% full strength. Drip Clean should always be used, especially if you are going to be running high PPM's. I don't care how much flushing somebody does, if you run PPM's to high your buds is going to taste like it. Drip Clean helps fix this, it binds itself to certain salts and ensures that excess salts are expelled in the waste water. I don't use this product often, I usually run low PPM's and can't tell when I've used it or not. But I would recommend it just in case your trimeter breaks like mine did last round.
After adding A&B my PPM's should be between 400 - 850 for the majority of large plants with just the A&B. Those PPM's all depend on plant health, size, and how many additive I'm going to add. After adding all my additives I like my PPM's to be between 800-1300.
The only additives I use besides my H&G complete line up is Sweet Raw and Liquid Karma by Botanicare, as well as a CalMax by Growtek and ProTekt by DynaGro. If you do not have access to the Cell Splitter product you will need all these (a ca/mg supplement will always be needed unless you are using hard tap water) the Liquid Karma, Sweet Raw, and Protekt provide me with the few missing components in this line-up: Humic Acid, Amino Acids, Carbohydrates, Silica, and a little bit of extra Sulfur.
Another thing I have been noticing, I do not see so much of a calcium deficiency as I do see a magnesium deficiency, that seems to be what H&G is really missing. They sell a Magnesium supplement, but just like the wonderful Cell Splitter product, it is still not yet available for use in the US. But this is why we order online, or sweet talk our H&G reps until they give up their personal stash of it.
