For the ones who got this ka-460 pump. You guys noticing that your having to put in ice bottles a lot more often?

And I got the normal "medium duty tool replacement cord" Its says 16 guage, 13 amps, 125 volts. 1625 max watts, and insulated for 300v. This work for splicing them together?

Yup, its confirmed. After the second day if it running, Im having to put water bottles in probably more twice as much. I used to be able to get away with 1 water bottle a day. Now im having to put like 3.
Before during the darkness cycle, the temps wouldnt move at all. Now it goes from 65 to 73-75 throughout the night.

Yup. I switched over to a cooler too after watching your grow. I had been having problems with root rot.

It looks like it creates more than a little too :( The other thing I was concerned about was because I am using a motorcycle battery tender charging running this right now. I know its a 12v, but I think it charges at 1.25 amps. Im afraid if I splice this without an adapter it might overheat the pump even more or something. I put in a half gallon bottle this morning at 12 when the temps were at 74, when I came home after 6 hours, the temps were only at 72

For anyone thats purchased this, DO NOT splice it with that home depot wire. I did it and when I pluged it in. It popped and doesnt work anymore. I think this thing needs an adapter in order to make it work, something to regulate the amps going into the pump

plugged it in where?

did you plug it into an outlet ?

doesn't realy matter too much what kind of wiring you used, unless it was phone cord, it only draws minimal
