the most important thing possible is to stick to the plan. Make working out like second nature. After you do it for a while it really does become as significant as dinking coffee in the morning. If you take a couple days off it seems to snowball effect... soon you take weeks off.

I believe the body is a sacred temple and you can train it to withstand anything with practice. We rarely unlock our abilities.

Just look at what brucelee could do. He could punch you from across the Effing room!lol dude was no joke

Running is very hard on your body. It's a great workout but the average person should probably hit the elyptical. After man years of BBall I'm stuck on one. If I run my tendons go bananas and my shin splints kick in something fierce.
I`m in the same boat. The next day after 30 minutes of running/jogging. My left knee is done for the week and I left with horrible shin splints.

Im not on a diet, I just eat what I want. And make sure to run 15-20 miles a week, and drink a shitload of water, Ive been dropping weight for the past year.. Soon ill be at my goal.

Sticking with any single form of excercise will make you plateu. I know guys that can jump rope for ever but can't run well and vise versa. Everyone should do a few weeks to a few months of one thing then change. Keeping your body guessing is as important as the diet and the food...

P90X is no fucking joke. If you can stick with the diet and workouts I have no doubt that you will be shredded in a three months. Their shake is fantastic. A little low in protein for me so I add two egg whites. The menu is incredible.

P90X is the real deal but you better be ready to live around your work out. Lots of time spent on buying and making the right food...plus the work outs. Good luck.
I was doing the pylometrics? last night and I was like Fuck you Tony Horton :cuss:

Hope I get some good results, and at the same time I'm learning how to cook, before the p90x I never really cared to learn or attempt to cook anything. I know if I want good results I have to watch what I eat so I went out and bought some stuff and search youtube for videos on how to cook stuff.
3rd day and I have cook myself, breakfast, lunch and dinner 8-)

The P90X diet is fantastic and very tastey. It's not diet food. It's normal food that everyone should be eating. Surprisingly high in calories, not the food, just the amount of food. Men can be up to 4000 calories.

I just ate 2 burger king burgers, w/ a side of fries...
Strictly regarding weight loss and not health, you can eat 50 snickers bars a day and lose weight. Just as long as you have a caloric deficiency.

3000 calories a day of snickers against 3600 calories burned, you'll still lose weight.

very true.

I was more less stating how i wanted to get back into shape and change certain eating habits yet i keep eating this shit. If you eat more, you have to work harder. Not my style..

I've cut out my extra salt intake completely. Not using nearly as much hot sauce on anything. I ate some tuna today and am about to eat some skinless chicken breast. Had plain eggs this morning with grapefruit. 3 sets of knuckle push ups, 15 minutes of cardio bike at the chiropractor. I feel a lot better, a lot of my sciatica pain is gone!

Nice...

A lot of aches and pains go away when I start working out after a long break. For examply, I have scar tissue in my left elbow from snow boarding. I can tell it bulks up or hardens after a few months of me being lazy. Then after just one week of lifting the pain goes away.

Of course working out brings its own set of pains but those are good pains.

Staying active keeps the body lubed. Combine that with a standard diet (standard meaning healthy) and you will feel great. Not to mention your dick works a lot better.

My buddy was 33 with a problem under the belt. He smoked cigs, pot, drank, overweight, ate too much sugar and meals to him were crappy snacks. He adjusted everything but his herb intaked. Now his dick works again.
