I agree, if this is your first time using LED, dont be surprised if you have a less than perfect run of you're accustomed to that with HPS. First off, your temps should be in the low to mid 80s to account for no IR in leds,

I've postet a datasheet about the used AltaLED COB's in the other thread about these lights. You should read it and compare it to current 2018 LED's. These COB's were not bad as they came out in 2014, but today they're outdated. Only 80-90lm/w in CRI90+, current quality brand COB's like Bridgelux, Citizens or Luminous with that spectrums can deliver up to 150lm/w.

These company never cames big and they still sell their old 2014 COB's because they never got really successful.

It will grow for sure some quality bud but it is simply not as good as you think. That's a fact!
The LED market is unfortunately unmanageable for LED beginners. It usually takes you a few days to familiarize yourself with and get an overview of the current top products.
The market is full of outdated lights that fill manufacturers' warehouses and they somehow have to get rid of. Giving away a few for free to generate cheap advertising is a smart idea and may work in other forums.
However, this does not work here, because people usually end up here on RUI when they realize they've been ripped off by scammers like this.
Here they learn which LED's are actually the best, they learn what PAR, LER, QER, μMol/s, PPF and PPFD means and how to calculate the efficiency of their own lights in μMol/j.
If you develop a better understanding of this, you will quickly learn how to separate the wheat from the chaff.

God thanks, you got it for free and did not waste any money on it. Test it and compare g/w results with HPS and current LED tech. With current top bin diodes a good grower can yield "at least" 1,5-1,7g/w.
So this is the standard by which you have to measure your own results.

Okay, -1, lol!
But you could if you wanted....
Im competent in light measurement and efficacy talk. And comprehend what it means. We are dealing with the mfg in regards to getting accurate data on the light. We have a clear idea of what is going on here. All that matters. And ill continue to post and document the grows with this light. All the bashing and shit talking wont deter this ol grower. Fuels my fire. ✌
