The Main-Lining Thread

If just topping to split the head, then he can proceed, but if he is looking
to mainline them, then waiting for a couple more nodes would be in order.

Just how I am seeing it at this point.

I found that the best main line can take a while to show itself.

Good luck,

Good day everyone!

Well with all the problems here I am at day 49 from seed and just finished my last cut for the manifold.

Have been surprised by the amount of growth between each cut.

I trimmed the side with the single shoot last Friday, gave it some grow time and today trimmed the other side. This is just before the trim.Q1 9-12-13 before trim.jpg (136.09 KiB) Viewed 4 times

So I figure one to two weeks and I will be under 12/12. I will have my cabinet finished by then and will post pictures of the cabinet at that time.

I have ordered White Widow and Ice for my next grow.

I am hoping that this form of grow will be good for the SS400 due to the even canopy and it being opened up so the light will penetrate into the canopy. I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks to all that have sent me encouraging words and ideas also.

Peace out,

GR

I have noted that the Querkle has very tight nodes, growing them out will create a bush.

I am wondering, my grow cabinet is just over 7 ft2 (2.5 x 2.83, how many plants can I expect to get in there using the mainline method?

How long does it take to "mainline" before flipping to flower?
Depends on how far you want to mainline and let the plant mature. The last critical kush I did from seed was mainlined to 4 after 27 days and to 8 after 34 days but I had her in a 15 gal pot and vegged her to 50 days before flower.

That was a great grow Capt', I hope you are happy with the results. I know we always see ways we can improve but that was one hell of a grow bud.

Peace out,

What would be your guess as to the least number of days
of Veg that this mainlined Kosher Kush will need before flowering:
KosherMainlined23.jpg

The eight tops, all I plan to go for, are defined and beginning to grow.

I am thinking that I *could* flower as soon as a week. I really cannot wait
all that much longer. I am working with plants that have been growing from
seed for weeks, and some are getting big.

Here is a shot of the tent tonight:
VeggingInTent.jpg

In the center column, with the Jack Herer, are the Purple Wreck and the
PurpleBerry BX. They are really small in comparison to the others but I am
going to set up a small bench for one column of plants and will put these
with the Kosher Kush on it.

Both tent and closet are in Veg mode (20/4 for me) and so I can still make
changes to what is in the tent for this cycle.

I have two females from the Cannaventure Mothers Mix, and a nice Somango
clone, in Hempy buckets already, but they are no further along than any of
these plants. (I am going to LST the Somango around its bucket)

Well, I may just have to force the issue and lose a little Kosher yield...

Thanks for the time, in any case.

LOL....all apologies for killing the mainlining thread!

The eight tops are already popping out:
KosherMainlined4.jpg

I should be able to flip in a week or two.

Note: I hit my entire tent, to be cautious, and to rid this plant of thrips.
I used gloves and pyritherins, and hand washed every leaf, drenching
them well. Things look good so far.

Take care all,

JD
