The Main-Lining Thread

seems like this method must start from 2 nodes. will it work if you top it leaving 4 nodes? and does this work with strains that have lateral branches that is far apart? the one you have, the 2 nodes are at the same level; other strains, the nodes are at different points.

Clones have differentiating nodes, and it is described how to mainline them in this thread (you'll just have to search), so yes.

Nugs,

I know your not posting anymore in this thread but what's going on with Green Bay man..... If San Fran wins I'm going to be a sad person.

I thought gb was a lock for sure. I feel as a Detroit fan I have to hate San Fran no matter what after handshake gate lol

If GB fails I hope Atlanta can knock sf out

Been trying to find this myself
Starts at page 111. *Note ~ There is some great info on here. Whenever or whatever one needs on this thread, it is always best to use the search tool for the thread. It will save you a lot of time. Master Nugs has done an outstanding job at bringing all of us, his knowledge and passion, especially making it all very understandable in plain English. Hope this helps. Peace and Love :-)

...here are a few random shots of main-lining clones.......i don't have much time these days to write, but thought these may be of help until things settle down a bit...(working dep and sun grows together).....if you have any specific questions, please ask, and i will do my best to answer.....

.......with clones, you have to look at it this way....in an asymetrical trunk, the leader will be dominant over any of the node growth below it......so it is just a matter of swaying the dominance away from the main until one of the chosen lower leaders catches up to it in vigor and stem diameter.......and that is done with a pretty radical pinch/bend/bond of the main....look at all bonding, pinching, and pruning as a form of supression, and use that to your advantage.........be well, nugs:leaf:

GEDC3733_edited-1.jpg This is my first attempt at MainLining .... An (8) Head Manifold Vortex from Clone after 55 days of vegging (which is par for me). Shortly after this pic was taken, I cleaned up the lower 1/3rd of the plant. So many thanks Nugs for the insight and share of your knowledge. I can already see where my quantity, (as well as quality), will be a whole lot better with the info that you have shared with so many. God Bless !! :peace:
