That's fairly loose reasoning on your part, at best. You only show pics where you did the exact same thing to a few plants. If you wanted to make a valid point, you would show one plant where you had lollipopped at four weeks into flowering and another where you had lollipopped two weeks before you switched to flowering. Then you would weight out the buds so that you had some actual data.

Ultimately, the only thing that your pics prove is that the plant was still able to produce buds.

The lollipop method is the way to go i think i got 30 urples in a 3x3 table hydro with a 600&400 HPS on them about two weeks in to 12-12 and i will trim till i have no little buds just big tops and it is nice to have that many plants in such a small space.

So Gypsy, could you quickly describe the process of getting nice lollipops like that? It's hard to find any good and definite guides to lollipopping and you obviously know your shit :D

Otacon your quote is hilarious lol but anyway I definetly agree I've yet to find a decent guide on lollipops and from the looks of your pix you got it down pack!! GUIDE GUIDE GUIDE WE WANT A GUIDE lol j/p but seriously it would help alot :bigjoint:

Im trying a new method of getting fatter buds myself right now. I took a dozen twisty ties and ultimatelystrapped each lower branch to the main stem in order to bring them towards the middle..therefore closer to the light..therefore....each bud site is flooded with the beautiful light of my 400w High Pressure Sodium!!! I did it 2 weeks into flowering and little stress is shown so far (1 week later). I have no idea where this idea came from, I was just rollin a fatty boom batty and the light bulb came on! lol :-P

I follow Al B.Fuct's method...

Take big clones...

Trim the lower third of the plant and anything that grows more than 1"... no branches allowed...

now get 48 of those under a 600HPS and call me in 8 weeks....lol...:bigjoint:

Ah, great, thanks for the info :) One more thing, though - do you go straight to flowering with them, or do you give them a vegetative period?

well here is a pretty simple basic guideline i always follow for lollipopping. always cut the bottom 1/4-1/3 branches from the main stem these are usually the weaker ones and dont receive light. i then cut everything that is the first 1/3 of the branching of the branches from the main stem. this method works great for me.
