Just about above ground lol. This year is going to be the best summer in a decade, we need to get plenty of outdoor action going on. Tis the year for autoflowers to go out around start of june.

i say just above ground as the seedlings are in actual soil, my father took all my compost for his veg patch, and i popped them unaware of the fact so just tossed them in small pots to get going, when there being re-potted i`ll use the regular compost and bury them up to the leaves, i`ve my eye on a few tubs that will fit my space neatly unsure as to the actual litre size but there tall and fat enough to hold at least 25 to 30 litres so hempying them should produce....

i`ve big plans myself for the summer grow, i`ll use the 80 odd lemmon hazes ivè left here and fire them out, between males and wildlife, getting found etc i should at least get a half decent pull out of them come september october, depending on how they go...

like the thinking bubbles, but beware of cctv in your adventure, theres so many of the bastard things around, was walking near a coillite foresst and even some of them have cctv on them, so be wary...

i`ve 2 spots picked both very secluded and fresh flowing water close, land owner is on side as he thinks were just dog walking and shooting crows etc, need 2 more tho to be able to do 4 gardens of 20 just to spread the risk a little aswell as the animal destruction should there be any, it`ll be full time job when there near finish but by then i hope the yeild will keeep me going...

and i`m sure you`ll get a fair bit more than 2 oz from them, unless there like the haze`s with there wispy small buds, now that i`ve some decent genes working there majic in the grow room i`m hopeing for lots of fat buds, not that the stone is bad from the haze but the buds are dis-apointing...

My six little ones, hopefully all females. 4 plushberry and 2 elephant stompers. I'm just waiting on the shipment of rockwool to arrive to start the full run. Good luck to everyone else and their runs!

Just counted and I've got 105 of these Strawberry Blue seeds. I'll be getting some seedlings going on the window sill this week and put them out probably 2nd week of March. 10 of them in 2 litre bottles and probably another 20 just plunked down in the dirt in various places. I just hope the rats, mice, hares, and deer leave enough of them alone to end up with a couple of plants to harvest this fall.

I usually start as soon as they come out of the ground and shed the shell to form the first two fake leaves but since plant it earth ran out of rockwool I am waiting longer than usual, that is why they are a few inches. I hope they get their shipment by friday!

hows it going lads hope your all well. thought i'd give you all a bit of update on how things are coming along

Week 6 - oldest plant
Week 5 - second oldest
Week 4 1/2 - third oldest

have had a bit of a nutrient lockout problem recently one the eldest so had to do a flush a few days ago and I'm just gave it plain water there earlier on today.

other plants are all fine. good PH, temps 22C - 27C humidity 35% to 50%

oldest plant is 18 inches tall
2nd oldest is 16 inches
youngest is 16 inches

pictures are on the piss again for reasons unknown... they come up fine on my computer

one thing i've been wondering about recently is trimming off some of the lower leaves that don't get a huge amount of light. I've read a lot from both sides of the argument and i still havent made a final decision. a lot of people have said to give them a trim but it dosent really make sense to me seeing as the fan leaves are pretty much the plants engine room and have a store of nutrients. any thoughts on the matter lads and ladies?

2013-02-17 19.53.04.jpg group shot in the grow room. my 300w dual spec cfl is massive. about the same size and 1.5 times the width of my forearm
2013-02-20 20.11.04.jpg oldest plant
2013-02-20 20.11.13.jpg second oldest plant
2013-02-20 20.11.24.jpg youngest plant
2013-02-20 20.11.42.jpg oldest plant again

@le spliff doctor: I think you might be over watering your plants, droopy leaves is a sign of it but I could be wrong since I'm not around them or even experiencing the same weather.

hi mate i think its under watering if anything i was away for all of last week cause of work and they didn't get a watering for 7 days. they've perked up a lot since i watered them yesterday mate. then again i gave them all a flush last week and sorted out the PH which had dropped down to something like 5.8 cause i noticed some nutrient lockout was going on so it could be that

I only trim leaves that are blocking light to a bud site and can't be moved out of the way or leaves receiving no/very little light. I have done major defoliation in the past with no real noticeable ill effects but I wouldn't recommend pulling off leaves all the way through flower. But you are right that the leaves act like the engine of the plant, more leaves can only help bud production if they are green and healthy which is why I really only pull off leaves in flower for airflow reasons. Hope that helped you in some way doc :p
