Outdoor again for me this year, going with some powerflower clones and a few bag seeds. The powerflower was proberly some of the best cron ive smoked, a real rushey head stone followed by serious mongedness lol

I would like to see how your early skunk turnes out, i have yet to find a plant that can overcome the irish weather.

weeds in my garden and grass have a hard time living in this weather never mind anything else, id just wait it out for a while. im sure things will pick up a bit soon.
as for lighting schedule i always put mine on 18/6 to give them some sleep, they do grow when asleep aswell and just look healthier. a few of the plants when i was on 24/0 did not like light round the clock and i was getting a lot of leaf twisting and they didnt seem to grow any quicker. cheaper on the leccy aswell, if your not gonna be around stick them on a timer, very cheap.

no when i switched mine down from 24/0 to 18/6 they were fine, but i would not give just 2 hours dark, put them on 20/4. its a happy medium that a few people are doing. get some pics of the grow up fella.

jay do u have yours on 20/4 or 18/6? just wondering what eveyone is doing, i know if you have problems with cold then you may leave them on 24/7 but what you can do then is have the night during the day jingle
jack good luck with the yield fella, i still have a few weeks to go with a bunch of mine, had probs getting light down to the roots and a few of the leaves and lower branches were falling off, ie ruled out ph imbalance /mag shortage and lack of pota so id say its just the light shortage, quite dark in bottom of tent. ill be sticking in a long fluro tonight just to keep them happy, theyre worse than women!

I read that plants produce carbs during the day and then use them w/stored nutes the most at night, thats why they need a dark cycle. I also saw a thread that gave actual numbers and apparently 20/4 was the best light cycle by far, I think by 12%.

EDIT: And at 24/0 the yield was only 67% of what it was when compared to the 20/4 grown plants...just something to consider.

very interesting harrekin, i thought they needed some sleep alright, will try the 20/4 on the next grow alright, although at the minute its probably more like 19/5 mine are getting so not far off.

chin what do you think of the air pots, been looking at them. do you think they make much of a difference, the thing i like about them is they would prevent things such as waterlogging soil. how much did you pay for them and where from.

cheers lu yeah have them hanging up in box's to dry then curing...im trying out smaller jars with big ones cause all i had the last time was really big mason jars but just felt they were to big for the smaller buds ....yeah party at mine :-) bit of a journey but i thinks it worth it haha....

the chin nice i grew a cheese for my first grow before the new year was very nice....never used or heard of air pots,how far are you in ???best of luck with the grow . jack

I have G13 Labs super skunk for my next grow aswell as all the freebies from Attitude. Also my 250w bulbs (MH and HPS) should be with me tomorrow. I fucking hope so anyway as i ordered them nearly 2 weeks ago.
