Greetings from the north dudes hows everybodys wee fillies goin'?

This is where I'm at now with my first ever grow, picked the seed from a bag of dry crispy homegrown, the green itself knocked me on my hole but I thought I'd start my botony hobby by makin sure I didn't get shite quality weed again, seems to be goin well, started vegging on my windowsill and it just started flowering last week so now I have it under a UV reptile light on 12/12, using just your basic tomato plant feed as money is severely tight at the minute, she's around 1 and 3/4ft - 2ft in height now.

Any opinions or tips other than using a high pressure sodium lamp, as I said money's tight.

I see new leaf growth in this pic but not any sex characteristics either male or female - i wouldn't cull it yet!

OK I THINK I WILL LEAVE IT TILL SUNDAY OR SO AND SEE IF ANYTHING HAPPENS, mAN THIS WAITING GAME IS A KILLER CAUSE I HAVE 3 BIG DEVILS AND 3 FAST BUDS WAITING TO GO DOWN THAT ARE ALL FEM.

I would say that the reptile uv light might be ok.
Just keep an eye on them and they will tell you when they are unhappy.

There's too much shite about that's why I started mine so I wouldn't get it anymore, what ever happened to the dude that brought in all the medicinal grade stuff? It only seemed to get here once, I have the wee grey air sealed bag still, there's plenty of pollen about though good clean stuff too, think it's funny we call it pollen to make it sound better when it's just good hash pressed flat

Forget that so called pollen, i cant believe the price some people are trying to sell it for, its rubbish, all ive been smokeing for the last 6 months are Caramello eggs,savage stuff, 80 for 10gr eggs.

Hi Doiremick, i am in the same boat as yourself, thats why i am growing.
I have 5 Nlights @ 11 days old, 3 bag seed @ 4 days old and another 2 Nlights germing. NLs are all autos.
I hope everything will go well in your grow, only one thing, i would advise you to invest in some good fem seeds.
Where do you have the plants in a wardrobe and what are you doing about the smell, do you have a carbon filter, because those girls are gonna stink.
Are you extracting the smell out through it ?
Let me know if you need anything Mick, i will try and help you out.
Give me a rundown on your area or growroom, fans, filters whatever, just so i can build up a picture, i will be posting pics myself shortly.

Your gonna laugh your head off man I'm goin' pure ghetto with mine but only because I can kinda get away with it, I study law and have helped a few neighbors out with not paying their TV licence and I have a job I barely drink and keep meself de meself and have no intentions of ever dealin' so they don't worry, It's a cupboard grow, I vegged it on a windowsill that had a good bit of light all day (back yard faces an alleyway that no-one can get down or see into) In the cupboard I've got a florescent light at the top set on a timer (that's the most high tech part) I have my plant raised up to the light ontop of a speaker and a guitar amp, and I a desk fan on another speaker facing up to the plant, no sophistication whatsoever.

I've got a set of lowryder feminized ak47's aswell but as I said it's gonna be a personal thing so I'm in no rush to get them growin' if it's gonna take 10 weeks and I already have an indica that's only 7-8 weeks left to be done there's no point growin' until I'm done this one as I'll have plenty provided the flowering goes well, just hope the raad stick to their statement that their only goin' after the dealers and not the users

Sound on for the support too man same sentiments are extended to yourself aswell I'm a huge geek and I've read and watched almost everything to do with weed before I started haha

Let me know how your NL's get on sure by the time yours is done mine would be too if ye want to swap a bag for a bag someday in the future.

Whats the crac lads, heres a snap of "the beast"(hollands hope) and a bud shot of the blue widow. both coming along fine apart form a few problems.

Hows Everyone else gettin on? The weather has been fairly shit for us outdoor heads the last while. I also have a hollands hope up in a mates gaf outdoors thats been going proper purple the last while! Its will be nice to have a bit of homegrown purps to puff on. YaY!

Cheers jay, was having some moisture build up in the mini greenhouse there for a bit. Had to fold up the sides to let some air flow in. The otherday i checked the blue widow and found a bud that was starting to mold Whipped it off straight away so i hope that will solve the problem for the next while, fingers crossed. Ill have to get a few snaps of the purple hollands hope up, it looks fuckin savage lol

Yeah the weather hasn't done the outdoor growers much favours this month, and suppose to get the first bit of frost tonight and tomorrow..
My plants, whats left of them are burnt to a cinder due to over feeding (again) but have two good plants going... The mother of my BLZ Bud and the other is a clone from a old girl called Blossom..That actually spent all of its growing days outside untill i threw her under the 12/12. Both looking good considering what they have both been through..
Have a few seedlings, Purple widow and The church... I was hoping for these to be ready for Christmas but Im not sure there is enough time now..
I also have seedlings from an accident from my first grow, I have asked about these seeds and what they should be called on another thread somewhere and basically what peps are saying is that its my creation and the fact that i didn't know the exsact strains, then I can name it whatever i want... So I've gone for.... J.M.L..... No not the shopping channel but.... Jays Magic Lavander.. I was going to call it Chinese Mint..
So at this point my veg room is full of wannabes..
I'm also entering a "Party cup grow off" on here... It has to be grown in a 16oz cup... Its just for a bit of a laugh..

Your not going to faking believe this shit, here goes, nirvanas autos norhtern lights are a bad strain and they have remoed them from sale and guess what i bought, you got it right, faking going mad bro's.
I rang the guy and he is replacing the 5 NL i got , with a mix bag of autos, shite.
I am 2 weeks in with 5 @the minute.
all the guys that bought them are having probs, except for a few, they will not flower, they do not need 12/12 its 18/6 or 20/4 all the way, but alot of guys are having big probs well into their grow, i am devestated, really down lads.
I am going to stick with my girls as long as i can and see if they will reward me for my devotion.
Pics will follow over the next few days.

Doiremick, you need to make a carbon filter bro, i will be posting how to do it next week and you can follow the pics it will only cost you about £5 to make and it will kill all the smell coming out of your grow room.

Bummer about your NL's lad but on a lighter note, red star have buddah cheese autoflowers, 10 for £35, not too bad or diesel ryders for £45, same prices as online and no waiting for deliveries.
