After you mentioning the knock off meanwell driver, I checked the one on my cobs and it's also a knock off. Never noticed until now and I have them about 5 years

I found this site earlier www.greengate.ie
It says they're based in Ireland. Only one light size but I think 240w would be good enough for my space. Anyone buy off here before or know anything about them?
There's feckall on that site

You may need 2 of them Sean?
Fishbulb is ur man but he’ll prob push for u to go for the best and cheapest way to do it but will involve a lil work. I recommend it too but for ease purchase a reputable local company with a guarantee n ul be sorted.
That light only does a 3x2 flowering area

I'll still be using the COB's for veg and seedlings. I just want to try something with a bit more power for the final few weeks so one is probably enough. I'll check out fishbulbs recommendations on here. I built my own lights previously on the cheap but I just don't fancy waiting on them or dealing with customs so would prefer to buy local if possible. The big brand lights are rediculous prices for what they are though.

I chopped my first plant in 3 years about 2 weeks ago - a FastBuds Orange Sherbet. I had some issues in the beginning while I got the new environment sorted but ended up pulling 3oz of it and there was zero popcorn buds in that. To be fair those COB's have served me well, I was well impressed with that yield under a 50w. I'm not sure if genetics have progressed a lot in a few years or I just got lucky but I don't recall being this pleased with a plant before

Yea I reckon those boards teamed up with your cobs should cover your space. I know how ya feel man, I'd finally found a shroom bank I can trust but of course they're based in the UK and I ain't risking customs for it.
As for genetics, they seem to have come on in leaps and bounds! Again, @Fishbulb is your man. Chap has an unreal collection and is always hunting for the next big thing.

Is it wise to cut fan leaves off??
Honestly it depends, if your packing a tent and leaves are overlapping, sitting on each other, and shits just too crowded your best off defoliating. In your case I wouldn't say itd be beneficial, the leaves are spaced enough to catch light and not smother each other. Also the fact she's an auto you wanna cause as little stress as possible.
