Yeah it’s probably just who ya know over here...

No man I meant to go off and get a magnifying glass today but never got around to it, they are only on ph water for four days and then nothing for two days and then chop chop on Thursday

Because growing from seed takes sooo long and also when get clones they would normally be coming from a good pheno wouldn’t they?
Thats a good point, if you had time to invest you could do a couple from seed and go "pheno hunting" for a mother plant? Endless supply of clones, once ya have space to keep her

so the the girls came down, odor issues and impending guests make for a worried missus lol

Hanging in the homemade tent with the extractor fan running, temps kinda cold but I wanna try dry em slow so hopefully that helps.

Tangie and the monsters are now under 2x 100w "cf grow" cobs (50w actual draw) and a jerry rigged assortment of e27 leds (2x24w, 4x12w), gonna replace the jerry rig with 2 more of the cobs and get a bigger light for a second tent.

So, mars hydro 600 any good? Or any recommendations on a light that wont break the bank?

What about these quantum boards rigs diyleduk sells on uk420 Buds? Consensus seems good from growers, they dont seem to be shills at all.
Im dipping my toe in leds research wise and i could be wrong but a unit for running just under a sqm dual spectrun is reasonable money. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Quantum-Board-cob-led-grow-light-lm561c-s6-bining-250w-3000k-3500k-2700k/302916061485?hash=item468734492d:m:mtYVm2xU3Tg9H3ESY8rZwKA
The above seems a good candidate for a two plant set up and I'm considering it. Just need to swat up more on the suitability of spectrum and intensity required for flowering.
Have to say my viparspectra 300 is good at vegging. Had six sedlings all with tight node spacing.

90 Stoner, nice to see all the green in the netting!:) Any reason you opted for nets over hanging on branches? Will nets dry buds faster? Want a slow dry and cure as well as i believe it makes all the diff.

For vegging T5 are excellent.
HPS for flowering. Fuck cheap LEDs
I like leds for their compactness, low heat and low wattage. Growin on a budget lol might look into t5s for a seedling/clone box tho. Also GG arrived safe and sound, cant wait to give em a go! :D

What size tent had ya the viparspectra in? I think they do a 600 that might work.
Save on space and rigging up strings, this way I just trimmed into a bowl and tossed em onto the net. Easy peasy :P I figure having em a packed on a bit tighter will slow the drying process and ive read colder temps help break down the chlorophyll and preserve terpenes

Yeah dreading my leccy bill as also on a budget. Had the hps on 660w for the last wk and its been on 24hrs from day one....
A 300w (at the wall) decent quality dual spectrum led in my 80 by 80 by 140 tent with two plants under it is the plan if i keep at this malarkey once i finish this crop. It will have to be a spring or autumn grow as the tent will be too cold with leds during winter.

The vspectra is in the tent above and i cannot fault it. Meant to be fairly poor for flowering by all accounts tho.

Nice one on the drying. I plan on chopping my first ever plant shortly as there is finally some ambee trichs. Started plain wayer diet on her.

My very first bud!
Cut the top bud off my oldest plant:) 97 days from seed and weighs an ounce so maybe 7g when dried?
I chopped it as it was about 30% amber. The other buds are a bit behind so I'll leave the plant for another while. Gives me a chance to try out my drying tent.

Its a black orchid tent 50 x 50 by 1m. Nicely made actually. 33 quid.
I have a 4" 180cfm extraction fan and small carbon filter running in it. The wee dehumidifier is on its way but %rh is ok at the mo.
This little tent is gona be busy the next while;)

Back in the grow room today for a marathon session and some action indeedy! House mate said i stank like feck haha, he said I'd wanna burn my overalls:)

The one i took the top cola off above... was on closer inspection ready for the chop entirely, 97 days old. Not as much amber lower down but about 10% throughout. That'll do.
Each stem was cut and hung on hangers with pegs like i seen online, hamdy space saving method that.
Buds are not as dense as on the other plants but it smells lovely, very piney and of citrus.

This one above went from very few amber to lots in the 5 days since last checking, so after pulling off the fan leaves she went to the great drying tent in the sky too. I hung her whole after notching the stem at the base.

You can see it hanging in the back.

The dinafem critical 2.0 auto is at 69 days and getting fatter. You could hammer nails with the buds, amazing considering its shaky start thanks to me.
All trichs are all cloudy and perhaps only a wk or two from the chop (listed as 70 to 80 days). Kick ass genetics and you can see why the commercial boyos supposedly roll with these. Here she is

The biggie is cloudy all over but with very few amber t's. Might imcrease bloom to max, whats the craic with cal mag this late into flower? Shes been getting 1ml pl all along, do you still give it yeah?
Here she is

Maybe another fortnight. Will give her straight water for the last wk as soon as theres amber. Cheers for that advice Buds;)

Bought some more vivarium hydrometers and 10 8g boveda 62 sachets for storage in my glass ikea swingtop jars. Any opinion on the bovedas? Probably more of a concern in climates where low rh is a factor but i do believe they can regulate rh down too so said fcuk it and bought them as they're cheap and don't want rot.
Thanks again for all the advice lads:)

Mainlining works well if you have only a couple of plants. Not sure how much you can push an auto?
Absolutely, thats what i thought. The notion being plant in final container and dont stress it as it won't have time to recoup... But what he does is exactly the opposite. He pots up twice, doesn't ph, grows in clover multi compost and lst's the ever living crap out of them to great effect.
I started reading his thread when i first undertook this grow and its only now I'm brave enough to tie up my wwcbd as per pic up above. I'll post pics as it progresses or doesn't. As a good comparison i have 3 other wwcbd plants that i will leave alone as a control.

Buds, my drying tent is a steady 55% rh and about 11 deg c. I know on the face of it thats mold city but with decent extraction in the shape of the 180cfm fan and the tent being small (.25msq so air continuously exchanging) will it be ok in your opinion? Ive bought a dehumidifier and heater but they're bloody delayed:(
