you got it pretty much right so far.. but yeah definitely get some ventilation in there lol
I was thinking about building some sort of mini room out of foam in my closet so I that could cut the foam for fans and such...idk yet tho I'm just having fun with it haha.
Maybe I'll find a cheap tent on (edit: craigslist...not ebay) like how I found my light. We will see...

What I have should be alright for now tho yeah?

She likes it deeper haha. We will see how they take.

I noticed that the Claustrum's tips turned a touch yellow and it looked a little droopy yesterday.

I'm thinking it's just stressed from when I tortured it's roots to satisfy my curiosity...this morning it looks slightly less droopy and the yellowing hasn't spread.
Also I see good new growth...so I'm not too worried about it.

Here is how it currently looks.

The Critical #47 looks happy and is also showing new growth.

Haven't updated this in forever haha.

Plants both seem to be doing well. They're starting to smell slightly...didn't expect that until flowering...

Operation transplantation was a success!

I will start giving blooms nutes soon and switch to 12/12 light cycle next week sometime.

I love growing so far...but I fucking knew I would. Can't wait until they produce some monster buds!

I started 12/12 light cycle.

Looking good. Do you plan on topping or anything?
Thanks!

Nope, since it's my first time growing cannabis and also my first time growing anything indoors I'm just going to let these two go on their own and see what happens with them...
...as you can tell I have been giving them pretty much only the bare essentials...only just started feeding them 2-7-4 JOBE'S Organics nutes last night.

I actually didn't expect it to be this easy...I expected to run into some issues by now...maybe I've been lucky? Idk...I'm sure flowering will hold some lessons for me though.
Only problem I have had so far has been fungus gnats and that has been corrected by simply watering less often.

I usually get rid of the lowers come flowering time..l it's also a great excuse to try your hand at cloning! An invaluable skill to have going forward

I was thinking about trimming a few fan leaves later in flowering to let light through to lower bud sights.

I am tempted to try taking a few clippings...I do have some cloning solution I got from when I went to CannaCon in Feb.

Time for an update.

They're both growing yet, I have been keeping and eye on their hight.
They both measure in at roughly 26 inches.

I think the issue I am running into is that they are starting to need better ventilation...but I could be wrong...I don't think I'm over watering them...but maybe that they're taking too long to dry out...

The critical 47 seems to be in better health out of the two, it has had no problem transitioning into flowering...but is stressed a bit...

20160425_213404.jpg

The larger fan leaves are dark green and some of their edges and tips are curled and brown in spots as well...

Above and below is my odd ball 8 fingered leaf.

Budding sites look like they're coming along nicely to me.

Let me know what you all think.

The Claustrum on the other hand has yet to show signs of flowering...

It's also showing the same type of symptoms as the crit 47 but is worse off and showing other symptoms of stress as well...

The fan leaves are droopy and some of the fingers are sort of folding in like so...

Also I notice that the new growth on the Claustrum is yellowish with green edges on the fingers...

Could be a phosphorus deficiency causing those yellow/brown spots. Are those only on older growth?

Do you know your run off pH?
Yeah, only on the older growth, mostly the larger fan leaves.

No idea on PH, I'll have to get a meter or something sometime.

The Claustrum wound up being a dirty male so I clipped him up and am trying my hand at cloning a bunch of males and putting them out on my balcony just for the cloning experience.
Probably the most newbie thing I could do but I am a newb so fuck it haha.

The Critical #47 is budding nicely.
Measures in at ~30 inches.
