i think the point is to show that cannabis thc shouldnt be considered any of the other categories like depressent or stimulant or anti psychotic or hallucinogen... they gave it its own category because its still considered a drug in our society but its not like any of the other ones because its not an actual "hard drug"

Thats funny I think they just still have no f'ing clue how to classify THC, it seems to have varied effects on different people too.

THC is classified as a "stimulant", "depressant", and a "Hallucinogen" according to the chart.

^The winner! THC/Cannabis is the most versatile drug known. It's effects are varied & many. They put in the center for a couple a reasons in my opinion...One-it's considered by so many a gateway drug(not me) so it leads to all others. Two-it is & has always been the center drug of the world.

srri's aren't hard drugs and they still put it in there - hell i dont even think you can get high from those something to do with protien receptors in the brain. imo they just put all the drugs that are considered illegal or need a perscription to get and catogorized. though wtf is with the grey circles? they don't even fit into it.. too hard to follow i want the simplier version =)

i liked everyone's input.

my opinion is that cannabis is in the center for propoganda... that "it's not like all these other drugs which may be harmful"

i've always thought of THC as a depressant with some stimulating/hallucinogenic attributes.

i used to have another chart that looked like a family tree. each set of chemicals was divided by how it acted on the brain. that was the one that the SSRIs and MAOIs showed they're fun-factor.

i've got the light blue section covered...

i'd go for the red "narcotic analgesics", or cocaine which i feel is misplaced. there should be another category somewhere between red and blue labelled "anesthetic".

cocaine
lidocaine
novocaine
etc.

cocaine isn't technically a stimulant, although it does increase heart rate and blood pressure. different metabolic reaction.
