super chill dog, probably got a higher ganja tolerance than most people around here :]
he used to have the worse chichhuyahauhaaa attitude living down in crazy southern cal.
but once we moved up north, he chilled out sooom much. plays with other dogs, people etc.
a dogs environment is huge... i see the nicest, smartest dogs out in the mtns.
pretty friendly dog community in our town :]

i have a question
can we over freeze our oil??????
i believe i have made a discovery.. but this shit will be hard to replicate..
sooo, i have a few different sized tubes now..
i had a big bag of trim to work on, so i decided i would spray a small test batch. i sprayed a small tubes worth, and came out with perfect gold terp filled wax.
well, i figured it was good to goooooo on big tubes, so, i packed up all my tubes, and blasted, my end product was nothing like my first small test batch.. dark, and wtf smell and taste..
what i witnessed: small tube made perfect stuff, big tubes killed it?
my small tube is 24 inches long, with 1 inch ID - 1 can of tane used
my big tubes are 60 inches long, 1 inch ID - 2 cans of tane used
exact same freaking processed used on both.
i did noticed straight out of the big tubes, the oil seemed darker..
so. i am know reallyy really like wtf.. i have had excellent success out of the big tubes, ( but if could have been to the different type of material?)
another thought that crosses my mind, is .. did i some how test the wrong batch pile in the small tube??? wtff..
my tubes are insulated, and metal, and my cans of butane are frozen.. my tubes are colddddddddddddddddddddddd.
i seriously couldnt believe how amazing the small tube came out, it was one of my prettiest little chunks.. then my 4 big tubes seemed to destroy it..
this is all cray. im gonnas be in the testing field again tonight. big tube spray, compared to small tube.
BUT, anyone have reason to believe this?

Haha I was given the first 3 seasons on DVD this past weekend...nah she drives a 2013(I don't know, one of the new models) ford focus, stupid new cars, they make them such a pain to work on.. Ended up costing me $708.....bastards
It would make sense to me that as it travels it becomes saturated and picks up some extra nasties
I wouldn't expect such a huge difference especially darkening color, I would think the extra nasties would be slight water solubles and chlorophyll with the normally bright waxes that are a bit heavier.so I would think under the same conditions it should be brighter, waxier, maybe a darker/and green tinge, to me darker is heat and vac...I could be wrong(lol
)....but perhaps it was the extra hash needing to be purged that altered the color so drastically....
Would be interesting to separate/reduce the hash solvent mix out the long packed tube, to the same size batch you were working with before..I always notice the smaller the run the better

ouchhh, 708. cost me around 2 bills for a new one (self installed :] )in m my 95 truck :]
i got housemates who loveeee that show. i'll watch it when im taking a break from this work :]
but the season finale was the other day. that episode was pretty sweeet. did you catch up yet?
i was thinking perhaps i picked up extra nasties, perhaps chlorophyll with perhaps some how higher moisture content since there was more material? the end product just had no relating smell, or taste, and color..
another thing i thought is maybe the person who gave it to me threww in some good stuff on top of all the old stuff???WEFQ?FF?ewvev and i ran that small amount of good stuff on top. haha, i have nooo idea.
as far as extra rinse goes. i actually have less pools of butane out of my big tubes.. i like to run my big tubes twice, with minimal butane each time.. the small tube sprayed more than enough tane to run out clear.

different weed was tested compared to the big run.... i realllyyyyyy hope this was the case.. i love my big tubes!

Yea I don't think anything you could possibly do would cause that..effed up the evap/purge or some trim or just late flower?
Uhhhh yea..I don't even know what to say about that..just gnarly..that can't be the same flower, though it looks like its been purged longer, or hotter? Is it thinner.appears that way....and no way that's from anything you did in the extraction process...just my opinion though
Oh and I've seen till the end of season 3, I don't watch tv or anything but a buddy recorded the new ones...yea I wish I coulda done it myself .I got all kinds of shit for taking it in..once upon a time I was a mechanic..but they make these new cars so cramped I said fuck it..probly couldn't even change the spark plugs without lifting the engine or some shit..like them sideways Japanese cars that make you pull the engine just to do a water pump....anyway.....
Oh and I don't think it was extra moisture in the herb...maybe but I always use fresh frozen no matter what solvent I use..haven't done butane in a while but when I did, my fresh material still produced really nice extracts that were light in color...dark to me is always degradation

i will leave it up to the board to determine wth is happening..
here is a test, of same material ran. used SAME MATERIAL, btw. same strain, STRAWBERRY COUGH both times
did side by side runs, exact initial boil off, exact everything!!!! exact finish off. just different finishing times, and the lighter colored one (smaller one ended up taking a bit more purge)
i am very pleased to see i yielded more per inch of tube on my smaller tube.. and of course, the colorrrrrrr is crazy different.. after work today, i'll try them out dab by dab...
