Rocket is right, licensed electrician won't touch/install anything without ul,etl certs....but you could just plug it in yourself? Lol, I mean if you can't get affordable home or business insurance for cultivating a schedule 1, so who the fuck cares? Maybe a rare chance of fire , but I always recommend an auto extinguisher anyways....

Live life risky in general, Have at it grower! Ha

It isn't a state, literally a territory... and unfortunately their cannabis laws/regulations aren't published in English lol. I will definitely look into this more.

edit: got a response on MOQ for custom diodes, in my case 90 cri lm301h... 40k, so like 28 complete of the ~600 watt units. Honestly not as bad as I thought.
I paid 1k USD roughly for each fixture shipped.

$2875 CDN. Not bad for top end medical lights.

80 cri and Lm301b sk.

10 bars. The 600 watt has 6 and the 1000 watt has 9. Mine have 10 at 800 watt.

Bought them custom so I can modify them later for a bigger area. Bigger drivers and spaced out. I figure I can push each bar to 100 watts. So up it to 2000 watts later.

Just so you can compare.

I’ve got some nice plants waiting to flip. Cannot wait.

am i missing something in the math..?
No. 2 x 1000 usd. = 2000usd. ($2100 usd really)

So yeah, roughly $2875 Canadian.

Talked to Carrie. Was correct. Can actually power each bar to 120 watts.

20 bars run at 1600 watts currently. Switch drivers and space bars out for 2400 watts if wanting expansion in future.

Legal all the way too.

Just pulled the trigger on two of these for total $640 CDN delivered to my door.

Dealt with Yvonne Da.

Great for my autoflower/veg tent.

Bava 240 watt.

UV is switch on/off.
660 and 730 on another switch
Dimmer.
2700 and 4000k Lm301b.
240 watts each.
Meanwell driver
Be aware some don’t have the option of double switches. Minor price difference but be aware.

It’s September sale so I think 10% off on alibaba.

You’ll be seeing these and the Meijiu boards as I grow with them.

And a couple 5500k epistars I use for seedling and veg.

At what wattage can I run a qb288 and not need heatsink ? What wattage has them running relatively cool ? Like if we’re to run 4 qb288 off a 240w driver that’s 60watts per board will they run cool ?

Id say depends on the board, a straight hlg yes, you should be able. A china board, not too sure but you should be close. If you find them too hot then give them some airflow or alu backing. Im pretty sure 40-50w should be safe, especially if you have them in a frame.

Hello,
newbie with a quick question here.
Im starting my first budget grow (4x4)
I really want to go down the LED path instead of HPS.
After some research I will probably buy the
"HLG 550 V3 480W Samsung LM301H LED Grow Light" from Kingbrite
What Option do you guys recommend?
2700K
3000K
3500K
4000K
Since im a beginner I will grow autos so maybe 3000K or 3500K?

I got QB lm301b v2's about 125w~ x4 (Kingbrite boards), how much power and height should i start with after germinating the seeds? I'm starting with 1 plant under each QB so 4 plants total, there's gonna be some light spread but i don't know how much. Some guy with a similar setup said he ran something like 30" with 50% power at the start or early veg, didn't get a full answer.

Also i tested my setup with a "digital watt meter", i was getting up to 300 watt readings from the wall with 2 boards, can that be real? I wasn't even cranking it "full power", also got 1.34A reading from the meter (not sure if the meter only read the amperage from one board, or it's not even showing the right readings in the first place). Too bad my multimeter that i ordered never came, maybe have to go to a local shop to get something.

Hey anybody using a 550switch? I got one From geek light 301h 3500k with 660nm and 730nm + 360nm(I think those are the uv and ir numbers?) Uv and ir are on seperate on/off switch for each... Came with dimmer wired in all I had to do was attatch the driver... I have a qb120 and 240 already and I realy like them.. My question is dose anybody have any expirence with 301h diodes (rather then 301b) or the uv or ir diodes?? My other boards are 301b+660nm...
