Each plant is also getting side light from a Growgreen 3000k 90cri and 5000k 80cri board.

I've 4 x RQS Royal Gorrilla in the tent under the scope 240 L09 strips.
They're in early flower and already out growing the tent so I can move 2 of them under the Disco Boards in the shed, beside the Sensi Star and the ducksfoot.

What do you have your boards mounted on?

L shaped Angle aluminium on outside edges to keep them ridgid and 2 pieces cross ways to hold the 2 boards together.
There's holes in boards about a third way in, I just bolted the cross members that way.
If that makes sense........ lol

NaLite = Le Garbage, @TEKNIK hate to admit it but you were right. The replacement driver was even worse. All's well that ends well, I left a shit review for them. They wanted to give me a refund, but I thought it would be better if people saw their crap products for what they are. Now to rip these pieces of a shit a part to see what I can potentially salvage.

Raised the lights today and one heatsink's edge sat touching a ring screw being used to suspend a metal USB fan. Noticed two outer strips on both sides of the 560 board glowing after the timer cut power. Moved the heatsink a bit and noticed that if the screw and the heatsink don't touch, light goes off completely. Taped up the loop screw, problem solved.

Question is, what's making this happen, is there a current leak? Is the driver or board faulty or is this normal? The loop screw is screwed into wood, the piece of wood is nailed into a brick wall.

Glad I checked if everything was in order at lights out, looked like moonlight once my eyes adjusted.
Russell says it's due to static and there's nothing to worry about. Thoughts?

Really a non issue as I've taped the metal fan's stand and the metal hook it hangs off so the light goes off completely.

You should be able to salvage the light with some decent drivers running at half of the current of what they have them running at, the heatsinks on those can't handle the power they push into them.

I think youre leaking power from the usb cabling, just get it out of touch from the heatsink. I mean, at least the usb-cable. I doubt your board has a problem.

At this point I’m just gonna toss them, I don’t particularly care anymore.

They can make really good products in China but usually the ones pushing stuff on alibaba are small companies or resellers of someone elses products. They lie and say they own a factory but mostly they don't. Buying boards is very different to buying a fixture btw.

Yep I regret not going with the boards. My nalite is a pile of trash as well. They talked a good game and had some decent vids showing their product working. Fool me once I suppose.

I had a look at what they have and it seems quite good compared to similar products, the added fan is a good feature

@TEKNIK have you come across this crowd on your travels

SHENZHEN TANLIE TECHNOPLOGY LIGHTIG CO.,LTD ?
Funny thing is, the above spelling was on pdf so I googled it and it changed to
SHENZHEN TANLIE TECHNOLOGY LIGHTING CO.,LTD
R2T sent me a few pdf. They're 5730 leds.
I can't upload the pdf at moment as it's on Alibaba site but I'm working on it.

There are so many led companies in China it's completely insane, I don't know them all and I really don't want to. I will be back over there in June for a fair and also doing some quality control. I am usually in China twice a year but I hate going there cause I can't eat the food or breathe when I am there because I am not used to the pollution. I basically live on beer for a week when I am there as that's the only thing that doesn't make me sick.

What could I put in front of the drivers to dimm or reduce the current ? To this fixture
Work out what they have done, it's odd to have so many drivers, it maybe possible to replace them all with one meanwell driver. There maybe something odd with voltage on the boards and that may explain the multiple drivers.

Cool. Well I’m already speaking to Mejiu on boards, I’m current two sets and have no issues with them at all.
