you know what i just remember, get this......in ontario here we had a beer brewery close down, it was purchased by a private individual and was run as a grow....the whole brewery, they eventually got busted.....guess too many people new......in was one of the largest grow busts in Ontario,,,,,,,imagine the amount of bud coming outa that place,,,man....
i remember that.

Great thread, thanks for taking the time to post it. I totally understand your frustration with this place, it stinks when you spend 10 or 20 minutes putting together a thread with complete info and such - only to watch dozens view it and not leave a single comment.

Dear God Imagine what a team of 25 of us could do in there. I bet you could improve the automation and wiring efficiency let alone find the phenos you're looking for. I could turn most of the Appliances in the break room into mini-chambers. Oh yea that would be pointless in a 9 acre greenhouse.

yesterday, an associate and i were bored, and calculated how many SOG style plants in 6" square pots (al b fuct style) we could fit under the glass, and in the corridors and service tunnels, and still leave enough space to be able to walk among them all, and came up with this number:

1,916,640

using that as an average number of plants, and assuming a person could get 1/2 oz cured per plant (which is pretty reasonable, its what i avg in 6" round pots)
that equates out to be, rather roughly:

27,167,892.84 g or 59,894.95 lbs!


just 10 weeks, is all i need..... sigh

so that little 3 inch or so tall "pool" in picture one(where all the tubes are) is where the water fills up to?
and the roots soak the water up by the bottom of the roots?

im trying to figure out their method of doing it

the pool is filled with hydroton. the plants sit on top of the hydroton, and root down into it.
this is a recirculating system, the solution drains back to the valve/pump farm via a 6 foot deep artificial river channel, that also is used for boat tours of the gardens.............

do u know how they get rid of bacteria they dont want? chemicals?

they use a pretty impressive inline uv system to kill all biologicals, paired with r/o and sedimentation tanks.

like i said, they have two full time bonafide card carrying botanists on staff, and probably 3-4 dozen hourly employees

I realize this is an older thread but wow, that's something else man. Only 3 inches or so deep huh?
Looks like the feed is towards the bottom and not dropped through all the hydroton too.
