The Beginning Of Martial Law In The USA

I will be as self sufficient as I can be, because it looks like thats how youre going to HAVE to be. If we go martial law, I go into the woods, and ive been working my skills. Have you?
lol ok, when society fails and we all go mel gibson or tina turner on each others asses, I will believe it. Until then I will not worry about it. I will just learn how to do something that society will value and sell my services.

There will still be an economy in a total collapse. I may just need to find a midget that knows how to fix an electric generator to strap to my back though.

Yes I know I opened myself up to a joke about this guy:

But it was worth it to continue with the theme.

Not too many woods here about. Desert living in summer requires lots and lots of water. I should buy a water truck and a camper trailer to pull behind, would let me exist for a while I suppose.

I suppose if your moniker is Medicineman you should beleive in powers that normal folks cant really feel... look into divining for water, as funny as it sounds. I know a real old guy here in town that people hire to divine for them, he can use any number of items to find water, then just dig a well.

Buy a topo map of your region, and pre-plan all the geographic areas that are likely to have water, then do some research. If the need arises for you to have to bug out, you will have that knowledge beforehand. Youll know where the water is. Travel water to water if you have to. A Water buffalo makes for a great target in the desert though, no? If youve learned to divine, find you a spot, get your shovel out and dig til it gets wet. Or buy a lawnmower engine and affix a long 3" drill bit to it and you can test areas without breaking too much of a sweat.

I dont think we will see Mad-Max style post-apocalypse society. I simply think the economy is going to flatline, and we will have to go through some years of reparations at best. During the steep descent, unemployment has already reached 45% according to Bureau of Labor and Statistics if you read the data. Gov is redistributing all the wealth in the country, and a dollar devaluation is inevitable. People are going to get hungry.

Have you ever been hungry? No, I mean hungry. If not, I suggest you perform one little task:

I triple-dog-dare you to go into your local wildlands. Be it desert, wetlands, bogs, highlands, steppes, whatever. Go outside, and try to survive for one week, but only pack one MRE (Meal-Ready-to-Eat). Take a fishing rod, a snare, whatever you need to catch some grub to eat. After that week, unless you already possess necessary skills, you will most likely experienced the hunger that drives you. You become keenly aware of your hunger, and its nagging presence always reminds you of your looming insanity. You MUST get food, and the simplest frustrations become the most complex problems in very short time.

THOSE PEOPLE are who I am worried about. I know that hunger; I was forced to experience it in military. Hungry, starving people are quick to do whatever it takes to feed their families and themselves. YOU are of no concern to them.

As far as a useful occupation for the future, any kind of structural, contracting, and tradesman jobs will be high demand, as well as medical professionals, gunsmiths, handymen, and manual labor.

I was a collegiate wrestler, so yeah I understand real hunger, and real thirst.

So I would read up on purifying water and call it good. I can hunt, and make a net to fish rivers. Water on the other hand would suck. Disentary is a bitch I hear.

Shouldn't you be out on a ledge somwhere op?

Tried to figure this out... if you meant "qp," then my rebuttal is unless its calling out reality to the masses, no.

Although I do feel a bit edgy sometimes, its from the anxiety of processing so much information in current events, doom, and teaching myself things I should be going to a trade school for.

I have architectural and graphic design skills so I am in the process of building my house on 3D studio Max (rough) and AutoCad 2010 from crude paper drawings.

I have no (now I have novice level) electrical skills, so I am reading military construction electrician coursebooks, researching photovoltaics (I have 344w of potential energy in stacks on my desk.) and other mechanical generators to promote my own self-sufficiency.

I speak publicly to between 10 and 60 people every day, and I have support of nearly every single person I talk to. That is, based on their questions/replies/gratitude. Without divulging any information about myself, I am in a position that I get to travel all over my state and speak to over 500 people a month. I am able to express what is going on around us in an eloquent enough manner to attract the attention of both the wealthy and the destitute. Not only do I speak knowledge I can back up with factual, peer reviewed data, I offer examples discrediting current figure distortion, such as examples from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics. (Take out the statistics and read the real data presented in front of your very eyes. i.e. below)

red is important, blue is bullshit.

Unemployment rates for the major worker groups--adult men (10.2 percent),
adult women (8.2 percent), teenagers (27.1 percent), whites (9.0 percent),
blacks (16.2 percent), and Hispanics (12.9 percent)--showed little change in
December. The unemployment rate for Asians was 8.4 percent, not seasonally
adjusted. (See tables A-1, A-2, and A-3.)
Dont get distracted with race and sexuality and all that bullshit who gives a fuck. Its a distraction. Simply take the percentages, (since percentages are bullshit distractions too) and multiply those by our KNOWN number of 281million people in the United States as of 2000, and you get figures such as:

Adult Men: 10.2% of 281million [.102 x 281,000,000] is 28,662,000 officially unemployed adult men.
Adult Women: 8.2% of 281million [.082 x 281,000,000] is 23,042,000 officially unemployed adult women.
Teenagers (both male and female, typically 13-17 years of age [minimum age limit is different in other states]): 27.1% of 281million [.271 x 281,000,000] is 76,151,000 officially unemployed (but are able to legally work) teenagers.

Add those numbers up, 127,855,000 officially unemployed.

127,855,000 / 281,000,000 = .455%

The Bureau of Labor and Statistics goes on to include the total number of persons who were not counted in the official rolls, due to dropping off unemployment rolls, those who failed to gain work even though they were attempting, those who had been searching for jobs but gave up within 4 weeks of the official polls, or those who are unemployed but arent looking and dont care. I would present those numbers too but I dont feel like it, I overdid my previous example to prove a point. These are figures using 2000 Census data. In 2008 the population estimate was 301,237,703. That means MORE UNEMPLOYED than the figures I just gave you.. 45% unemployment should be good enough to stop and say

I guarantee when the results of last years food crops comes to the dinner table letting main street feel the effects of droughts/floods/frosts/energy prices/disease/et al, and food prices rise 2% due to instituting a new tax in your area, and jobs arent to be had anywhere because we are in a DEPRESSION so people cant afford food, and when those people start getting upset because they fall off unemployment since there arent enough making enough income tax to support the system, and then and then and then......

Then YOULL be on that ledge, but for a different reason. Ill be tucked away in relative safety with some minor creature comforts such as electricity, food, medicines, etc etc etc.

Do you not think the National Guard is going to HAVE to help out the Local Law Enforcement agencies in quelling the peace after the masses figure out that nearly half of America is in their shoes, and then they cant put food on the table?

Now, if you were not referencing me, well...

At least I didnt waste my breath with the example ;)

Im here for YOU!

This too.

Though there is credible information I am already familiar with, there is a small amount of info I cannot find credible sources for. So take it as a general knowledge type of video.
