I attached four 5' long T-8s to a piece of plywood that I have on easy-lifts,
ans am using what was once a clothes closet (classic two sliding door sized)
as a clones and mothers area (i.e. low energy 24/0).

It works like a charm.

Good luck!

look on ebay at the peaktop.us seller. they sell 2x4 tents for uner 90, wont hold CO2, but they are great quality tents for the price.

then a 4" fan and filter for each tent? 240+180 = 420$ = 1.5zip = :D x2 tents plus your current setup youd be set. maybe get one 400w hps or something hell DIY iit out of a high/low bay ballast of look on CL and get it under 50$.

i know its pricy but major upgrades usually are :/

Thanks for taking the time.

I seem to work my way up. I do try to not get things that will not
have some use in the future as I go. I think that building a SOG
screen is going to have to happen too.

I might upgrade my bulb as well. The seeds->mothers->clones->flower
works so well that I do not think that my MH HID bulb is going to get much use.
I think that I will upgrade my HPS to one of the better bulbs that are enhanced.

Take care,

JD

i prefer to flower with MH over HPS. but i dont believe in single source lighting anyhow, so if i am using n HPS its always paired with something else.

they both have thier advantages and disadvantages MH offers more usable light in the proper spectrums. only reason hps gets more lumen is because it produces more visible light.

Good point Poly, I actually have a 2x4 hydrohut kickin' around in the box. Might as well use it if I need the extra space. It just sorta sucks that it's like the polar opposite of stealth, after I put in as much effort as I do to stealth out the closet, lol. If it wasn't like 6+ feet tall it might be more discreet, LOL. It's a great tent, but doesn't work that well in my current situation overall. Still, might be necessary to accommodate all six of these plants... no big deal if I gotta use it, but what I really want is a situation where I'm not tryin to use the room for other stuff... right now it's doubling as an office/studio/workshop/grow room... the more fan noise the more I wanna stab somebody... so it's a delicate balance... my sanity in this room versus how much pot I can grow in it, lol.

Fuck it though, I can deal with it for one flowering session...

Yeah I really want to man, the electrical system is shit, space is limited, closets are awkward, lol. It was cheap as fuck tho. I do wanna get moved to a new place, just haven't made it happen yet.

I did get an email back bout that head shop position... that place is like 45 mins from where I'm at so I'll probably try to find a place up there if I get that job, perhaps.

No big deal really, I don't mind working with my limitations, I'm just trying to figure the best way to work with the limitations I've got, haha. I don't even have the electrical support to run an A/C in addition to lights and exhaust, so... I am brainstorming on that, figuring a way to run a cord down a floor to another circuit for the A/C. But really wanna get moved before that's needed, hopefully. Luckily I live in the cold north and it's STILL fuckin' cold...

Doin alright overall.. been goin a little stir crazy myself, so hoping I get that job to get some space from my girl and get some social variety in and shit. It's in a college town so it could also be a good networking opportunity as a musician, maybe get a band together to play my songs. Just tryin to stay optimistic as I move forward... not sure what the plan is yet... gotta get some money coming in and pay down some serious credit debt, then the sky's the limit. It will be interesting to see how much more I can save money when I'm not spending it constantly on weed, LOL. (I haven't had an "hourly" job since quite a while before I started growin, so all I remember is never having any money left, LOL.)

But yeah, doin alright overall, stayin pretty high, lol. Enjoying my vapes. Watchin' lots of movies, lol. Not being suuuuper productive, but have written some new material, which is nice. Been vaping waaaay too much really, lol. But it's fine, I've got it, lol. I wanna get this job just so I have something else to do with my time so my tolerance goes down. ;)

Kolossus gets the most play since I harvested it, as it's uppy and I like stimulants, lol. But Herijuana's getting pulled out pretty much every evening an hour or two before bedtime, haha. The others are good, but these two stand out for me. I'm probably going to dry ice some of it and make a bunch of oil out of the keif... And actually I'll probably do the ounce I pulled off the first kolossus too, simply because the bud quality isn't as good because the plant's health was farther degraded at harvest than the other.

Haha I fucking love that movie!
Me too, that shit is classic. I love Tommy in the background wailing on the car... really completes the scene when you're viewing it out of context, lol. It made me wanna go watch it. I've been on Louis CK for a while now tonight... I just watched this, really enjoyed it:

Some good insight into the creative process if you're into that sorta thang... and I love the part where he says making a good comic takes like 20 years, because the first ten you're trying to figure out how to be funny... then after ten years you can't believe you wasted ten years of your life on bad material, and spend five years regretting that while you rehash your material to make the best of it, lol... then after that maybe you have something new to say and now your'e actually funny so it works, haha. I liked it because i relate it to songwriting and it holds true, lol. Ten years down... lol.

Here are the C99's recovered nicely from their butchering:

Here's the Raspberries, pretty much hanging at this height while the new heads grow in, just as I had hoped...:

Family shot, you can see they're starting to even out a little bit... keep in mind that the C99's are still on bricks, haha.

I definitely got good feelings about these ladies with this living soil. They look nice and healthy to me. And I think this mainlining technique will serve well. More than likely I have to expand footprint to accommodate all these later in flower, but I'll worry about that then, lol. Or at least when the heads are grown past the rings enough so that I can actually start training them under/behind it...

u just going to let them go or r u going to do some training?
lol... in addition to the mainlining seen already, the metal rings will be used as supports as the heads grow up past them. Training is pretty much done, both the low stress and the high stress. :) just going to be tying off to the ring when they grow past it, then it's a free for all.
