Iv decided to start up a thread specifically for pics of shitty runts and there progress:-P.
Iv got a belter that no one can compete with:lol:
This little shit is 5 weeks old. Theres a 2 week old next to it for comparison.
Shes a DNA Cateract kush, while all the others look great this ons bad. Maybe its something iv done.

Hahahah cool idea for a thread, good start so far... I got a runt. its coytledons came out of the seed all black and shrivelled... its still trying to live though

Hey what movie was that freaky guy in? I know I watched that movie when I was 10 years old or something

I can't post photos, no digi camera and my phone is just a phone, but I have a plant that is about two years old now, and not a mother. It started good indoors, then just stopped growing. I put it out in the sun when spring of 2011 started and it did much better, but it was about 3 1/2 to 4 months old already. It was alive but just refused to grow. Did much better in the natural sunlight, but was still slow growing. Brought it back in when fall came this year and finally harvested most of it around Christmas. I'm going to try the re-vegging thing with this one now. Probably a bad idea because it took almost 24 months to do what it should have done in 4-6, but what the hell, nothing to lose but a bit of electricity. Had a few runts over the years but they usually end up doing OK in the end. I don't sell, nor am I a caregiver, all for personal use so no schedule to keep or deadlines to meet so I give my plants time to "grow up" before I flower them, but this one, 25 months it's been alive. Crazy
The movie was The Goonies too BTW.

Ha ha.. I got one.. call her.. 'ol Half-dead'. started life as a way small cutting that should not have been... I was about to throw her away when I noticed signs of life..

but a pic would do me no good now.. it made a great comeback.

When I was in australia I saw this flowering plant, it was about 2 inches tall, and it would have rolled a nice sized joint LOL

Hey man pics of runts that come good are cool. Gives us runt owners a bit of reason for keeping em.:-P
As for the goonies guy, he came from a thread started by tafbang. A legendary newb who had a epic grow journal here on this great website.

Well my runt is dead, The cause of death was rotting roots. Honestly its the first death iv had from this. Must of been a poorly observed plant. Experience can make you overconfident sometimes.

I guess I could give a picture of the plant I've been keeping in my refridgerator for the last couple weeks

It's being deliberately runted lol

I'm trying an experiment to see if I can keep a mother plant preserved for 3 months while I'm travelling 8)

I'll load it up tomorrow... the birds are starting to chirp and I still haven't slept!

Thats a pretty interesting experiment. Keep us posted on the progress. Be a good way to keep plenty of good clones around for a later date without cluttering up the veg room.:-P
