called the place today, order should be getting shipped out as we speak (type)...just curious, has anyone compiled a grow journal yet? I know reading the posts is incredibly informative, but I was hoping someone had a day-to-day, tracking levels of nutes, water, and light...let me know, or if we interested in creating a couple various journals, to get a little more scientific about the growing process

hey everyone,
got everything sey up. but have a couple (hopefully) quickies that I am positive some of the more senior members can answer...

1) Should I germinate my seeds, then pocket them in the aerogarden pouch thing?
2) Should I go without nutes for the first week, 1/4 nutrients the second, and regular later on? I was going to go foxfarm, and check their feeding schedule, but I wanted to check with personal experience first...
3) Which setting should be employed for the phase of vegging, and flowering? Should I use another setting for the first two weeks?
4) Why havn't there been any posts of hot naked women showing off some dank buds?

I'll be posting an update soon....i'm about 30 days into flowering...I have 5 females...one of them is doing SPECTACULAR...the other 4 are not doing nearly as well..they seem to be a strain that takes longer to flower..so they are not showing as much progress as the one plant. Anyway, pictures and an update coming soon..and once i'm done I will post my full review and tips/tricks for using this thing!

thanks for the tip skunkushybrid im thinking of getting two 200 watt full spectrum floros
I don't rate these, but I know there are people that do. I bought a grow king full spectrum... I suppose it's okay for clones. If you use these, your yield will not be as good... even in the aerogarden.

I used the foxfarm series, it cost ~ 35-45$ for the nutes:

Fox Farm Grow Big (hydro)
Fox Farm Big Bloom
Fox Farm Tiger BLoom

You could probably use the nutes that came with the system if you really needed to.

Yes! I would buy all 6 of the products required, as by Fox Farm. When you think of it, the amount of nutrients in each product is way more than how much total is used for one grow. I'd say that they would last you at least 20 grows...I guess it would depend on the size of your resivoir too. I do know that Open seseme comes in 2 different sizes as for the other products, I'm not too sure but I don't see why they all wouldn't.

No, The Fox Farm line is complete with micro and macro nutrients, needed for a healthy plant. Just make sure you watch the PH and keep it between 5.8 - 6.3. Go light on the nutrients at first and maybe even straight through the grow. If your using the Fox Farm grow schedule, I'd go just a tad lighter than the amounts that they recommend., maybe not tho, you just have to see for yourself.

Peace

Tek,
You may want to invest $5 or $10 to get a light timer. They usually have about 4 "trips" meaning you can turn on and turn off the appliance at 4 different times. You'll just have to jury rig the aerogrow to work with the timer.

It's been proven that the quickest, most effective way to grow is through aeroponics--beats hydro and geoponics hands down. You just have to pick the right genetics to work with your system.

I think Low Rider #2 would be a perfect plant for the Aerogrow. Only grows to 16", no vegetative stage--straight to flowering and gives a good yield.

Keep the pictures coming and post your results with the different nutrients-- Not sure how to adjust for the lights that come with this system.

btw--Aerogrow is a public company now...I'm sure the stock will go gangbusters once HighTimes mag finds out about it. It was rated #1 product on Amazon.com in 2006.

Yes, when you have big enough pots and enough light. This is why I do not really like the aerogarden, it's way too small.

Is this true? I thought they went through veg' (sounds logical) and then just auto-flower, even on 24 hour light.
