the aero garden

so i saw one of these today online with very healthy plants and its supposed to be very ez to work. iv bin growing for about a year now but only in organic soil. can i plant plants in the aero garden and then remove the top light and use a 400watt hps or 600 watt? would the roots just all combined and kill the plants? some one please get back to me

it would be cheaper to make your own DWC system. I have an aerogarden but it is to small for weed, no space in the resevoir for roots. Look in the DIY section for nstructions to make one. Good luck and happy growing.

I am the proud owner of an aerogarden and they work extremely well for hatching seeds. Have a lot higher success rate than paper towels inside baggies etc. They will stretch like the dickens due to the weak light so you got to pull out the sponge and resink it deeper about 3 or 4 times till it gets some nice roots then put it where you want it. Like the man say the resovoir is too small for a full grow. Now I know some who will swear otherwise but I'm just trying to tell the truth here.
