@FrozenChozen Congrats Champ and I hope you have a great time doing that hosting thing. Again :)! BTW you should assign each entrant a 5 digit ID that they have to write on their cup the first week or so. This will eliminate a person falsifying their start since they won't know what number to right on their cup ahead of time though I guess if you really believe size doesn't influence voting my advice is irrelevant to you. I like the 5 digit ID idea, except still easily Photoshopped. I think a 10-second video entry showing your cup with the 5 digit ID at germination or first week, etc etc, would be more preventable. You could then convert that 10-second video clip on any online converter website, to a GIF and post the GIF link here so no one has to fool with youtube/vimeo unless they wanted too.

Yeah I guess but I'd like to see them have to do it for 12 to 14 weeks :).

In all seriousness maybe FC would like to take on the job of getting everyone one the same page when it comes to the final post format. I know the last round when I sat down to vote, besides the RIU hosting issues, I found it very difficult to browse the other contestant's plants because I couldn't find their final posts easily and that really frustrated my ability to make a decision. Maybe a spreadsheet with links to the entrants posts using the Permalinks in each contestant’s posts???? IDK, I'm just saying just like the opening first posts has a format the last post should too.

And since I'm flapping my mouth how about a rule were after the contestant decides which plant he is running they must have at least 2 photos of JUST THAT PLANT in their posts. It's really confusing for some people who have a lot on their plate and too many joints in them to remember which plant is which all the time in someone's posts. Again this was another reason I kinda threw away my vote in frustration. Keeping track of what 24 other contestants are doing is tough enough then they have 2 or 3 other cups finishing with whatever plants are growing in the garden and then it becomes confusing. Or am I just getting old and burnt?

I think back to last round when you said its like trying to herd cats. I think you have to set limits on all stages of the comp. Time limits, for the voting thread, I should have had everyone post a final post within a set amount of time, then when that time is up everyone can vote. And if no final post is done you don't get a vote. Even the two I competed in people drifted, again herding cats. Great first post btw, took some notes. With that I'm in.

I can setup a web form on ledbuilder.org so everyone has to enter all the details correctly and display all the final posts on a Google hosted spreadsheet.

If I can source a cup that size I will be in too...
I never bloomed in 1/2L...very small...it will be liquid nutrients no organic amendments if I want it to stay 11 weeks in this tiny cup!
It must be a plastic cup or some 50cl cup from Mcdonald or kfc will do the job?
