...I always figured the indoor grows needed the total darkness... with the moon and outdoor plants, the plants are going to flower because nature is telling them it's time, but with indoor lighting and controlled weather we are forcing the flowering with total darkness...the weather, atmosphere, night temp, and surronding elements all aid in the finishing of a plants life cycle outside, so the moon light outside can't really be compared to an indoor, forced flowering , environment

Indoor grows are just full of Rules, boundaries, and limitations.
Meaning we could have a breakthrough discovery every couple of years.
At one time we thought the earth was flat.

AND
If the plant doesnt want to flower you cant force it.
...it'll flower...it's my plant and I'm the boss..even if I have to threatin it with the weedwacker to bring it to it's sences...it'll flower...I'll hang it upside down in my tomato toppsy turvy as an example to all the other plants...then at least they'll flower

hmmmm...fearing them into flowering?

The reason the moonlight doesnt fuck with your plants during flower is because its blue light, let me explain. Certain blue light wont interupt the darkness cycle because mostly red is needed during this time, think MH/HPS you dont want to try to flower with MH cus its got too much blue, HPS has the red needed in the flower stage. Some outdoor growers actually use red LED light to "spray" their plants with, just passing over the plants quickly with it. The idea is to slingshot the plants straight into flower rather than creep. This saves like at most a week off of your flowering time (so they say). But wouldnt that fuck with the plants darkness as they just got hit with red light? No, after they hit it with red light they come back over the top of it with blue light which helps em back to sleep. Using this technique and a hoop style green house they can more easily force the plants into flowering, faster and at anytime of the year. Hope this answers your moon light wonderings

Thanks...I just need to find the box this moonlight came in to double check...after all , it's not really for plants it was for my Iguana...but a moonlight is a moonlight I guess...lol...it's only 1 little 150w thing, I don't think the plants will get much from it...I would probable need to spend some big bucks on a moon set-up for plants...can't do that...thanks for all your help
