Looks good, but not a great idea to cut all the leaves like that, leaves are used to fuel bud growth. But give em 2 -3 more weeks to ripen and you'll reap the reward for your labors! And every time you grow, you've learned something from the previous grow to make it better. It's a constant learning process

dude said he was trying to grow with a freaking heat lamp. LMAO... sorry, can't resist a laugh.

It's been so long since I first started growing.. I can't even remember what I was doing wrong when I first started.

we all start somewhere buddy. nothing to be ashamed of. I've heard of people doing worse. ;)

haha true dat! Waaaaay back in the day, I dug up crap dirt and put it in a pot, stuck it in the closet with a suntan lamp. Ended up buying a grow bulb, but I knew nothing about feeding or much of anything, and it died

Trich color is too much of a 'simplistic' method to tell if the plant is truly ready for harvesting.

I've said this many of times before..

there are many other signs you should look for.. besides just trich color, to tell if the plant is ready. Trich color is ONE of the few signs you should look at... there are many others. Your plant should look filled in, calyx's should be swollen, trichs should be mostly cloudy/amber, and the trichs should be standing straight up and should be clearly visible to the naked eye.. in other words, you should be able to see the trichs standing straight up, without the help of a microscope.

Also, when the plant is truly ready for harvesting... you should be able to look at the plant with your naked eyes.. and you should be able to see an amber tinge/color to the buds when the light hits it.

I posted an article about this issue.. which many new growers seem to make. I don't feel like searching my hard-drive again to find it.. but I would highly recommend looking for it and reading it. It explains much more about what I'm talking about.

Good luck, hope she was truly ripe/ready.

peace.

I dunno if I'd question anything this guy did, that's by far the best first grow I've ever seen. Hell that kinda grow took me a year to get. Props on that one dude. Repped.

Congrats on the bud! I've said it many times, I've killed more pot plants than the fucking DEA. I think I found every possible way to accidentally kill plants.
