TGA Subcool "Regular" Sexed Beans - Probability of getting a Female?

Hey guys,
I was wondering what the probability of getting a female from TGA's regular sexed beans would be. I don't really want to spend TOO much money since I'll be trying quite a few different strains from TGA hopefully. Just wondering if 2 beans per strain would give me a pretty decent chance of getting some females!

Ive seen people getting good female/male ratios on here; check out subcools forum. I think most get 60-70% female out of a 10pk

Genetically speaking its 50/50, the rest is up to your conditions and luck.

realisticaly its 50/50.. they either r or arnt... tga however does have a high female to male ratio...

i got 6 of 9 qwerkle

5 out of 10 deep purples here. just popped 20 agent oranges and im hoping i get the same ratio's with them

From a honey moon 10pack (mixture of all tga strains given out) I got 4 females out of a 10 pack. At the same time I started two jillybeans (from a 10pack) and got two different females. Just recently I poped 2 pandora's boxes (from a 10 pack) and got all females. Pretty lucky so far I think...kinda sets me up to get females more often so dont know if that is good or bad (I believe to have a 50/50 chance at m/f ratios). Subcool reccomends a person to pop at least 5 seeds at a time to end up with 1-2 females from his experience


At the same time, out of a few other strains poped 3 of one strain, 2 of another and then one...all of these turned out to be males.

I had 4 females and 1 male out of 5 Vortex seeds (still in flowering). I will say however that I have heard/seen/read that some of the TGA strains require some selection to find that badass keeper female. For example in Subcool's recent video on Youtube about Jillybean....he says that this is a strain that you will probably need to find that 1 "keeper" female in the pack of seeds........as opposed to strains like Vortex where almost all of the offspring are pretty awesome.
