Nope. You are definitely in for a treat. Not just the fine aroma but JillyBean is an excellent mood enhancer, anti-depressant. Not overpowering, really pleasant all around.Baby poo, eh? Good to hear! Your pics have me pretty fired up to see these girls in action. Jillybean is my first go around with TGA gear, followed up by some Cheese Quake which is about 3 weeks behind the Jilly. Can't wait!

I know it depends on climate but man is it funny looking at these jilly buds, definitely the best smelling buds I've had around these parts.
Just germed 2 of my CQ's, hoping for a dirty boy to collect some pollen and mix the two beauties. Your CQ buds are also looking bomb, can't wait to see them in big girl pots!

Those look great, were the stems on the jilly very strong? #4 looks a little floppy. Awesome job hovering! I love the timeline you create. Wish I could rep you lol. I hope you do a report on Chernobyl or Qrazy Train (could've sworn I've seen a QT of yours..)

yes, they needed some support, they weren't floppy like Vortex or Plushberry can be, but most everything we do needs support because the buds get so large, and even if they don't you run the risk of having colas flop near near finish, which is a bummer, so we always overstake.
Chernobyl is on my radar... QT not yet.

JillyBean#3, our keeper pheno, in a 10 gallon Smart Pot for round #2. It was easy for us to pick our keeper pheno from out 1 gallon test pot run, especially once Ms.Jill agreed with our pick
JillyBean#3 is absolutely out of this world good and our patients are looking forward to having her back again.
Our goal with the 10 gallon Smart Pots is to develop big bushy plants for our bloom room that will finish in the 3-4 foot tall range. We want to slow the vegetative growth while boosting the root growth. Our plants veg for 2 months in Smart Pots under a 1000MH on a light mover so we need to really keep an eye on tight nodal growth and which branches will eventually be our main colas in bloom. We do very little pruning during veg, leaving the pruning until about week 6-7. We want all the growth we can get right now, under the soil.
To accomplish this we use a combination of Supercropping and LST (Low Stress Training). Our plants transfer from rooting in 18oz soil cups to being placed off center in their new Smart Pot. From here they are Supercropped by gently bending and training them over to 90 degrees so their stem runs along the surface of the soil. From here branches are Low Stress Trained with "Skyhooks" (8" metal wire bent into shepherds hooks) that are used to train the plant into position.
Let's check in on JillyBean#3 at 28 days of veg...

Actually #3 was the lighter yielder but had the more developed and complex profile when it came to head, aroma, taste. Hands down winner.
And I love using a light mover. I am able to keep my growth very even by rotating my plants positions once a week under the mover. We put all our wattage into bloom but like having a 1000W HID in veg to keep the plants happy and prepared for bloom.
Our electric bill is insane so the mover helps a little on that too, letting us use 1 light to cover the space of 2.

tried the Jillybean imo it was nothing speacial...maybe i got the wrong phoenotype...who knows,,yours looks killer though..carry on!!!

I hear ya. Everyone has different needs and Jillybean is certainly different when it comes to TGA gear imo. Not nearly as potent as I need for my chronic pain, but nothing I have found yet compares to how it acts as an anti-depressant strain with mild pain relieving properties. This is extremely important for our patients as many suffer from the depression that comes naturally from being a patient all the fucking time. I have seen Jillybean transform a room of bipolar depressives into happy socialites, so we are sold on the Jillybean#3 pheno. Looks to be a permanent member of our garden to balance our meds. Cheers!

no worries. we use the light mover just in veg. we pack our wattage into bloom with one 1000W HPS for every 2 plants.
