I'm stoked to see these pictures, but ten days seems like a loooooooong time :( lol I wish I was smoking on some of that, great job nug!
 
there are a lot of questions about super soil percentages being asked, so i thought i would share some data from the lab....i only have info for four strains so far, but am compiling quite a log, and plan to keep it going with my 8 new tga strains as well........remember my ocd....i happen to be in the obsession phase as of late...as you can probably tell from all my morning postings.....its my routine...what can i say.....the sun does not hit my greenie till 10 am, so my computer work gets done as i wait....anyways....this is what i have found so far.....from lightest to heaviest feeders..

QT....(Querkle dom)....40%
QT....(Wreck dom)...50%
Ace (BCS pheno)...50%
Flav.....66%
Ace (JTR pheno)...70%
vortex... 75% (all phenos)
 
That's a great contribution, Nugs. I'm a hydro/soiless feedeer, but the info is still very helpful. It's interesting to see the variation from pheno to pheno. Where would you put Jillybean on the scale?

not sure bro, she is on my order list.......o.k. , so she is 60 % sativa....i know my flav (romulan) is a moderate to heavy feeder, we know c-99 is moderate to heavy....a.o...moderate......so i would test her at 60-65%....and make ajustments from there.......i like to see the very first signs of fade 20-25 days before harvest date......fun stuff.
 
whats up brother. just roasted a bone of querkle. i love this bud. cant wait to run more. a friend of mine kept the clones i gave them so i will be able to run her again, my first clone run. up until this point i have only done bean grows

what up homie......just received querk in the mail today.....hope i find a dank one like yours....you will like running clones, you will be pleasantly surprised how much faster they begin flowering....
 
....so up till today, i was a bit dissapointed of the aroma profile of the tga run.....just stuff that i am not used to....lemon, baby poop, spice, some savory aspects....etc.....i am a sour fruit kind of guy, berries, patchouli.....and love peppery notes, esp. black pepper..... but now that the girls are swelling, things are changing...i didn't like the smell of the vortex until today....now some sweet nectar, and mango, tropical fruit....is coming through, along with some peppery/tobacco....which i love.....the flav is still rocking some cherry bubblegum, very sweet/syrupy.......the qt's are not smelling much yet......as far as the ace goes, still havn't really pegged it other than a lemonene/baby carrot thing going on.....today is day 41 and they are starting to knob up....the yield is going to be lighter than i was hoping, but the resin output is rediculous....this is a hash smokers nirvana.
 
Great to read how things are evolving on this grow, Nugs. I just read through your canopy management thread, and learned lots-- thanks for sharing your winning techniques.

I love how the nose tells us things about the plants like nothing else. Once a strain is dialed in, the variation and intensity of scent can convey a ph problem, need for water, and more. My healthiest plants give off a scent that is full bodied and 'wet'-- I wish I had better words to describe it.

bro, i know exactly what you mean.........esp when they are over nuted, and lacking water......they smell the best when there moisture is dialed in.....almost like you get a very fine dew on your nose....like a wet feeling yes.....full bodied is a good way to describe it, where as when thirsty, some elements will be missing, replaced by a harsh chlorophyll note...i used to work at a winery, and tasted, and graded wines.....it was such a bonus to develop my nose......great post bro. + rep.
 
i am figuring out what my jtr dom ace is smelling like.....it is lemon-lime....like a magarita, but with this baby carrot smell....not the bagged ones, buy the ones you weed out of your garden, when thinning a carrot row....intense smell, those veggie gardeners out there will know what i am talking about....i hope the lime keeps coming, and sweetens up a bit, going to give her some more sugars this week........it has been confusing for me, cause the only citrus i have encountered so far is grapefruit.....i am liking it
