You have a ways to go yet, weeks not days.

You should go into the harvesting and curing forum and look at threads about checking when your plant is ready.

Some of the ways are

THE SWELL the buds will swell up when nearly ready
THE RECEEDING HAIRS the pistels will receed back toward the bud when the plant is ripe.
THE TRICHOMES these will be however you like it to be 20/80 50/50 80/20 amber to milky
and the overall appearance, A bud will take on a completely different appearance when it is ready to be harvested.

Thanks for stopping by but I harvested the last lady at 50/50 and she flowered in 45 days. I am taking this one out another 10 days past the last harvest for a different high want more amber trichs. I have a pocket microscope so I am watching. This strain takes 50-55 days to reach full maturity and the first AK48 harvested about 2-3 weeks ago was more of a test run on my whole setup. I am with BH post up some pics :D

What you are doing is a mistake, harvest on the plants schedule not yours. Read your plants not a chart. Now they may be indeed when YOU want to harvest but based on your photos they are weeks away.

Post in FDDtoBLK harvesting thread and confirm what I am saying.

2-3 weeks before they are ready.

He is finishing on the plants schedule by checking the trichs.

The trichs determine the high the bud gives, and he also might
have a preference on when he wants to finish them out based
on that.

Last thing I will say on this when to harvest topic cause I see where this is going..

Weedler on 10/6:
"Monday will be the first day of 12/12 for my ladies. Just check them they hit the 10" mark. Looking forward to a short 50 day flower for AK & 55-60 for WW "

His mind has been made up since he ordered the seeds, all i am trying to say is let your plants tell you when they are ready and tric color is only one of many signs that indicate ripeness, no where on anybodies list is a calender.

Here is FDDs "Are they ready" Thread

That was from my first AK48 and again cloudy / amber was 50/50 at 45 days of flower. I am going for more 30 / 70 with this one letting it take the entire 55 days. I am not setting my mind on 50-55 days from 12/12 it is just a guide. I am watching the trichs and only the trichs and that determines my harvest. I bet I will end up making 53 days, the fan leaves are starting to fall off and I have yet to begin flushing. I will only harvest when the trichs say so :D BTW I have posted there.

You should just keep it movin, Bonzi.
I know NO ONE that can HONESTLY tell when a plant is ready to harvest from a pic, let alone how much further it has to go before then as well.
Unless you're there with Weedler, you'll just have to take his word or anyone else posting their info, for what it is.
Pistils and the "hairs" changing color DOES NOT always signify ripeness and ready to harvest.
The ONLY way to be truly be sure is to look at the trichomes, PERIOD !!

Now...................
Weedler, homie, you're killin it my dude !!
That plant is DANK, fuh sho' !!

LMAO thanks for reading and appreciate the rep, I have not had the BJ or JH yet. I have a JH grow going but have never tasted it so I really have no frame of reference I am eager for the late January harvest :D

Here are some day 42 photos

I will be checking the trichs again later on but last time I checked them most were clear. I bet a few have turned or started to turn cloudy still have a few weeks, a final 6 days of nutrients then depending upon trichs I will decide if they need another week or if it will be flushing time. Right now with 6 days left of nutrients plus 10 days of flush that is 16 days so I will get some change in the trichs there. Leaves are starting to turn yellow wilt and fall off (larger fan leaves).
