Here we go... Going to try and keep this one updated regularly.

Setup:

3'x3'x6' Tent
110 CFM 4.5" Axial Fan intake set to come on when the light does.
190 CFM 4" Exhaust Fan ready for carbon filter when needed
Carbon Filter
(2) 5 GA buckets light proof with 5" lid baskets
4 output 15L pump

Started AK48 & White Widow both feminized from seeds about 2 weeks ago. I just put them under a 250W MH they had been under some T5's.

WW is on 7.5ML of General Hydroponics Hardwater Micro & 7.5ML of Bloom PH 5.8 , PPM 400
AK48 is slightly larger and I just put 1/2 oz of Micro , Bloom & Nectar PH5.8 , PPM 600

Water here: 7.8 PH , 200 PPM

Enjoy

4.5 Axial used the box it came in to make a square fan fit into a round tube

250W HPS flowering (switchable ballast). I am debating on just running the MH for a week then switching to HPS for another 2 weeks of veg before flipping to flower. I want to get 6 nodes & possibly top at the 2nd to get the 4 colas? Like UB... still debating.

Total veg from seed ~ 1 month maybe 5 weeks.

Update:

Woke up 30 min after lights came on the room had warmed up by 5 degrees (left bedroom door closed) room temp was 75 and tent temp was up to 89.2 when I got to it. Opened the door temp started going down and will slowly drop and to around 85. I just programmed the A/C unit to turn on when the lights do. This will help drop temps when light is on and let them rise slightly while they sleep. The room once the light turns off can easily cool. I may pump the heat out of the room later and may upgrade fan to help with this. I have a 10' run but this will allow me to keep the door closed without the temps rising because of the heat exhausted from the system.

How many nodes do you have now ?
If you have 3, I suggest topping now.
The earlier the better.
Plus you'll have let it waste energy in the 4 nodes you're snipping.
I topped mine when they were 10 (2 colas) and 14 (4 colas) days old on this grow I'm doing now.

I would top from 3rd down to 1st for 2 colas and from 4th or 5th down to 2nd for 4 colas.
JMO. We all have to play with these plants one our own in order to really learn it anyways.

I have 2 true nodes on the AK it's just starting to really take off I plan on topping this week. I'll post a better photo in a couple of hours.

By the end of this weekend, you should/might have 4 or be starting it.
I'd cut back to the 2nd at that point.

+ rep for the help

Just took some photos the AK48 looks to be loving the increase in nutrients. Went ahead and changed the White Widow nutrients to match.

Yeah I love watching them take off. I'll be bumping up the nutrients again in a week. Currently, PPM is 500 for both girls. PH 5.8 , Water Temp on average is 70 F using frozen water bottles to keep temps way down. 2 weeks and no algae so looks to be going good.

Glad to read that !
Keep doing what you're doing and it'll be smooth sailing until harvest !

Mine are probably the same age as yours. I'm staying at 450 PPM with my R/O water having about 50ppm to start. Just using GH Floramicro, GH Florabloom, Gh Flora grow and GH Florablend. Keep my temps at 68 because I use igloo coolers. I was worried my girls would be over nuted but you have seem to be going strong so I feel a lot better now.
Here's a pic of my white russian.

I started them in 1" rockwool that was presoaked in conditioner. Germinated seeds and placed into cubes with light and humdity dome. Once I saw green I mixed nutrient according to GH online calculator for 3GA reservoir. Placed 1" cubes into 5" net pots with hydrotron rocks. Both roots are now growing good and hitting water. Bubbles keep pots nice and moist so I'm not going to lower or add water above / below 3GA seems just right.

I think I said 600ppm in a previous post I'm almost 100% sure I'm at 500 with 200 ppm starting from my tap. Seedling stage I had 350 ppm

I'm following GH Calculator too but for 5 gal. I started mine in rapid rooter plugs after germination and in a dome for about 1 week. 4 out of 5 showed mass roots after 1 week in the dome and plug. I just kept them wet with 5.5 ph water and soaked down a paper towel to add humidity. This is my first time too, but feel at ease knowing yours are loving the 500 ppm as mine are loving the 450 ppm. I'm doing all 6 white russians from serious seeds.

So you would call your growth stage "mild growth?" at this point ?
Yes, I'm on the mild growth schedule right now. I'm going to stay there all week. Next week, depending upon size I'll bump it up to "Growth" probably keep it there for a week or two then switch to transition & finally bloom... During transition period I'll probably switch light cycle...

I am currently debating on switching from MH bulb to HPS and just keeping HPS & run that through the whole grow. I may just use MH for a week then switch to HPS bulb before hitting transition and 12/12 cycle.

Cool, yeah I'm vegging under a T5 I originally bought a 1000w MH/HPS but the 1000W made the room too hot. The T5 was also cheaper than a new ballast and bulb. I have mine still at 24 hr. Going to change them to 18/6 when I get home. I use the same calculator. Are you doing drain to waste or recirculating? My set up is identical to yours and our plants are about the same age ..good shit !
