Tell me about pink pistils

Greetings!

Sorry for a lack of photos.

Tell me what you know about •pink•pistils•. I've seen a few plants recently with hot•pink to •magenta•colored•pistils•. Plants are a lovely green, flowers filling in nicely, but 25% of the plants are rocking their hot pink head dress!

Could this be some type of def, is it genetics, weather?

I believe the strain the dude is growing is •blueberry•gum•.

im 2 weeks into my first grow, but id guess genetics, especially with the blueberry gum?
 
total genetics thing. some go red some go orange blue violet pink whatever . :-) nice genetics i bet
 
That's awesome if it's genetics. Looks a lot cooler than do the growing white ones. I think he'll be pretty happy about that.
 
He was pretty concerned, as they have been pink the whole time, never came in white at all, while the other 75% all came in normal.

it was definitely just a joke. pink is a genetic thing and the hairs often turn brown by the end.
 
It's fucking sexy. But yes, it's a phenotype variation. Get a clone of that, it dosent show up very often. I personally have not seen it yet.
 
I have 7 female Ms. Universe's (dynasty seeds) flowering, 5 are outdoors and 3 of those five have neon pink pistils. Its mainly on the tops of each cola, really pretty but they eventually turn brown (they are on there 4th week).
 
I have four ladies that have pink pistils and I swear I smell cotton candy! Can't wait, sneak peak.
