Clearing my conscience for the record. I do not accept or codone the use of drugs of any sort by minors. I do not have children, nor do I allow them in my home when marijuana is present. Children are not able to make rational and informed decisions concerning drug use and they ABSOLUTELY SHOULD have good ideals hammered into their little heads. When they become adults, they can then make their own decisions but the parents and gardians have a moral obligation to teach them right from wrong. The posts I read that are obviously written by some teenager talking about how they smoke with their mom...etc, are in my opinion WRONG. Just my opinion but feel very strongly that adults have a responsibility to push kids in the right direction. If you want to smoke as an adult...have at it, but leave the kids out of it and for Christ sake, don't do drugs of any kind in front of your children. Be the adult....do what is right.

i understand where you come from....but the problem is based on that so many decisions in our culture are based on the acces of of money...go to school to get a good job work hard to get paid own a house so on an so forth....all ideals shoved in our kids faces....marijuana an alachol are both substances that have been present in humen socity for 1000's of years...its only now that we see a probition on these substanes...an its comes to no shock that most of these probitions were based on money an racism not true knowldge...so now in this age we see all kinds of informations saying one thing or another....all backed by money supports who justufie their ideals with this information....let me ask you this...are milk an eggs good for you...peace az

Just wanted to respond to your statement really quick like. I totally agree that children shouldn't be allowed anywhere near drugs until they can make an educated decision and be responsible with them, but not all people become that responsible at exactly age 18. I've met six teen year olds that were more responsible smokers than half the stoners I know over 30. If the parent actually truly thinks the child knows what he/she is doing it shouldn't be that big of a problem. One of my friends a few years back in high school had parents who let him smoke, and have people over to smoke, and grow in his room without any restrictions until he started doing poorly in classes. Thats when his dad came in and took away all the paraphenalia and took apart his little grow. It sucked, but he fixed his grades, got his shit back, and he hasn't had problems in school since.

What ever happened to ideals based on honesty and hard work. Money is not an ideal, or at least I don't think it is. Education is important, from your spelling, apparently not formost in your realm. Most people want their children to be successful, to not suffer, to be happy and to lead productive lives. Productivity is completely subjective. In some circles if you are the best ditch digger in the area, you are successful, while in some, if you make $300,000 a year, YOU are successful. Success is what we make it, based on the goals we set for ourselves. Money is nice and affords us alot of material possessions and power but it is not the key to happiness. Being hooked on drugs and alcohol at age 16 is definately NOT successful in any circle. Parents encourage their kids to go to college, earn a good living so they do not have to go through their life living paycheck to paycheck...no good parent wants their child to have a hard life.
Milk is a great source of calcium for children. Is it good for you, yes and no. We are the only mammal that consumes another mammals milk...this is not natural. Eggs are good like many other things, in moderation. The egg and milk producers would like you to believe drinking 10 glasses of milk and eating 6 eggs a day is good for you but the FDA (BIG MONEY BACKED) tells the real story.

Good for you! Donating to people who need help is a selfless and wonderful thing to do. It is our responsibility to take care of our own and help where and when we can.

you thought it was good?

there are other ones in my signature too....

its pretty sad that they control the media/news and brainwash us into thinking whatever they want to make us think-for the most part anyways..

if we can spread the word around enough, maybe its not too late.
if everyone knew what their plans are, we have a chance.
people need to vote and stand up for yourselves. :peace:

I think you misunderstood. I did not mean to offend you about your spelling, just making the point at how important education can be in getting your point across in todays world. We are a product of our society...not all of us but alot of us. Kudos if you can be happy living in a shack, reading to your kids and feeding the homeless. That can be successful to some. I guess, I am saying that success is what you make it. I admit I gauge my "financial" success by how much money I make, by the expensive cars I drive, by the size of my house and the exotic vacations I can take. Why, because I am a woman and have to prove to the world that I can compete in the "old boys" society. You are right, it should not have to be like this, but it is. It is how I was raised. I am happy with my world and put in my time to get here. I have a very good life and would not trade it for anything. I donate nearly $20,000 a year to various organizations to support the society I live in, to help people, it is my duty. It ain't about greed, it's about sharing what you have, balancing the karma and helping other human beings no matter who they are. I have been kicked off my feet more times than I can count, but I keep my goals in view and keep moving along.
