Teabagers everywhere and not a brain in sight.

The tea party is asking for change in the government. Hopefully it will not be corrupted by the GOP. Personally I'd like to see EVERY single incumbent voted out of office, just to send a message about who is supposed to be in charge. The bastards in DC have created a 14 trillion dollar debt and have now added an additional multi-trillion dollar entitlement for us to pay for... Anybody who believes in progressivism should be relocated to a country where it has already ran it's course. It needs to be stopped and rolled back 100 years here.

Brilliant. Now, give up your amenities, car, electric shaver, TV, Hot water, refridgerator, etc, yeah, those were the good old days alright, LOL, good luck making people live like that again. Besides, politics were just as corrupt and biased towards the elites then as now.

As individuals we all have what we believe in what we think is right & what we think is wrong. The teabaggers can bitch all they want but at the end of the day they are pretty much preaching to the choir. I don't see how all this ranting & raving will persuade enough people to join them.

These are people who didn't want Obama as president & they are just frustrated. I'm sure if it were a republican president the shoe would be on the other foot & all those teabaggers would praise their president for what he's trying to do & it would be the dems uproaring against it. It's never ending. This crap will go on forever.

When I first started voting my mother said, just make sure you vote democrat across the board. I never listened. I vote for who I want & for what one stands for. I may not like everything a person stands for but if I do find one thing about a person which is important to me. That's who I vote for.

(These are people who didn't want Obama as president & they are just frustrated.)

This is what is wrong about your statement.

Alot of the tea baggers voted for obama.

I am not afraid of a few thousand conservative idiots. Yes MLK was a very brave man and had a damn good cause. The problem with the teabaggers is, their cause is a bag of puke. No to everything Obama and the democrats, just desperation. What is their plan other than to get rid of Obama and the democrats? I can abide with some conservative Ideas, like a balanced budget, but they always want to cut social programs while letting the pentagon run rampant on spending. I say bring back the troops, put them on the borders, and stop with this corporate imperialism. That alone would balance the budget and get rid of the national debt within the next ten years. That should be a conservative mantra. Adapt that and I'll go stand with the teabaggers. The reason I call them idiots is they don't have a good platform. Come up with something positive and I'll abide their actions.

While 57% of Tea Party members say they are Republican, another 28% say they are independent. Additionally, 13% identify themselves as Democrats.

Tea Party members have an income breakdown that concentrates slightly around the middle class. Fewer Tea Party members in the December - February surveys say they have household incomes under $50,000 a year than voters overall, 29% of Tea Party members compared to 34% of voters overall. More Tea Party members fall in the $50,000-$75,000 range - 23% compared to 17% of voters overall. Furthermore, slightly fewer Tea Party members report incomes over $75,000 - 32% compared to 34% among voters overall.

Tea Party members prioritize job creation over deficit, spending and tax issues.
However, they view these items as critical precisely because they are seen as a means to reducing unemployment and improving the economy. Tea Party members are very dissatisfied with the current direction of the country, the policies of the administration, and those currently in office, and as a result the Tea Party movement is breaking heavily in favor of the Republican Party.

Again, wrong. 70% of americans are not conservatives: According to a June 2009 Gallup poll, 40% of Americans identify themselves as conservative, compared to 35% moderate and 21% liberal, That pretty much says not only are you ignorant, but also a liar.

Medicine Man,

I've been to a few Tea Parties. Not much of a protest person myself, but believe protests serve some purpose. I voted for Obama. He promised change, a new era of government cooperation. Well the independent voters who fell for this, me included, didn't know that he meant socialism. We thought he meant an end to bi-partisan bullshit. An end of the bickering and feuding. Have the elected officials get shit done, period. Not change the fundamentals of America. Not change our system into every european country's system. Not spend like an out of control teenager. If a family is in debt or business is in debt, what do they have to do to fix the situation? Answer: Quit Spending! Thats common sense 101. Everything is relevant including the government, so if business' and families can't spend out of debt, why makes people think that a government can when government has no source of income other than people who produce for a living.

And please provide me with evidence, factual proof that "tea-baggers", fiscal responsible people, and myself are rascist hate-mongerers. I'm waiting. The only reason you believe this movement is not anything but a few percentage of the population is becuase you are close minded, and only listen to the Main Stream Media. Open your horizons.

Remember everybody, whether it's a dem or reb, look at their voting record and decide for yourself. Don't listen to what comes out of their mouths. All politicians lie or are stealing candy from a baby. Vote out all incumbents!

Ok, here is where I think you are misinformed. First off, you are stereo typing all of the tea party members as republicans and that is wrong. Recent polls have shown that about half are republicans; the rest are independents; and democrats come in last place with the lowest amount of members. With that being said, most republicans in the movement don't like what there "republican" leaders are doing in office. That is why they are protesting. The real tea party movement, not the one portrayed by the media, is about way smaller government....balanced budget....honest politicians.....but probably most important.....we are tired of having our rights stripped away buy big brother. I would think most people at this website would understand violations of our god given rights. Our government is and has been lying to us about almost everything going on in the world today. If you can't see through the matrix into how our world is really ending up then I don't know what to say. I guess I will just keep praying that not everyone walks through life with there eyes wide shut. lol.

57% claim repuke status, I'd of thought higher. Although they may not claim to be repukes, the repukes claim them, so in essence, it is a repuke movement with a few tag-a-longs from the independents and the right wing of the dems. No matter, they have shown, on national TV, their ignorance more than once, example, throwing money at a paralyzed man and telling him to buy his own health insurance, absolutely appaling. Calling Obama hitler, amd much more. They are basically an ignorant bunch of miscreants, to put it mildly.

Teabaggers should get consensus of what they actually do want instead of what they don't want

All I hear is a bunch of nonsense about how we have to

Lower taxes, but reduce the deficit

Reduce the deficit, but don't touch my medicare or social security

Clearly these people do not understand basic economics

Clearly you don't understand economics.... if you take the time to actually think before you post... you would already know that less taxes usually INCREASE govt. revenue. Higher tax rates lower govt. revenue.

They want to end the idea that other ppl are entitled to their labor.

Basically... it is stealing. The govt. is acting no different than a thief.....

I don't know who this lady is....but she doesn't seem very bright.

"these are my ppl .... Americans" he gets it.
