Do the American people actually believe in this idiocy? Do a few thousand angry people actually think they can change the world? History will deem them on the wrong side of social progress. There are many more of us than them, but let them think these big dreams untill the cold reality of voters send them packing. i keep hearing this term, teabaggers. when i think of it i imagine crouching over someone you just killed in halo or the boston tea party. if its either of those im down with videogames and no taxation without representation. i was actually planning on dumping some tea in boston harbor to protest raising cigarette prices

For someone so sure of something you're spending a lot of effort and time on it.
They just don't agree with you. Does that make them idiots? They don't like whats going on so they are protesting. Looking back would you say MLK was an idiot because he marched and protested?

If anything they are doing everyone a favor by protesting and gathering. They're making us think and debate. Who would want a nation full of lemmings?

Maybe it's fear that encourages all these posts about the Tea Party movement.

I am not afraid of a few thousand conservative idiots. Yes MLK was a very brave man and had a damn good cause. The problem with the teabaggers is, their cause is a bag of puke. No to everything Obama and the democrats, just desperation. What is their plan other than to get rid of Obama and the democrats? I can abide with some conservative Ideas, like a balanced budget, but they always want to cut social programs while letting the pentagon run rampant on spending. I say bring back the troops, put them on the borders, and stop with this corporate imperialism. That alone would balance the budget and get rid of the national debt within the next ten years. That should be a conservative mantra. Adapt that and I'll go stand with the teabaggers. The reason I call them idiots is they don't have a good platform. Come up with something positive and I'll abide their actions.

Nope, gave it up after 30+ years. I like being clear headed, it's a new experience. I don't need to get fucked up in order to maintain. I'm not dissing those that do, but you might say I just outgrew it, and believe me, I've been pretty high over the years, I was pretty deep into Peyote, almost to the Shaman stage, out of body and all that entails, pretty strange experiences. One thing that came out of that was a pretty good ability to read people, it is almost a burden and I try and not get into it. When you have the ability to read anothers mind, it sometimes aint pretty, and I have pretty much done away with that. But, it was interesting at the time.

I wasn't trying to justify their stance and certainly wouldn't expect you to either, but it's your opinion that their cause is puke. That doesn't qualify them being idiots...they just see things differently than you do. That was my point.

It would be nice if we could put the troops on the borders. It's just not legal to do it. There are many things we could do to improve things. Bringing back isolationism isn't one of them. WW2 taught us that. Should we have troops all over the world trying to convert people that don't have the balls to change things on their own? No. Should we bomb people back to the stone age because they support terrorism against us? Yes.

Reagan was a "B-actor, demented and dumb." "Bush 41 awkward and dumb." "Bush 42 stupid." Obama? "Brilliant, constitutional expert and professor that has answers galore on how to run the entire economy. Must be trusted to run the banks, financial institutions, auto companies, the student loan program, and of course, our entire healthcare system." All of this from a guy who has never been responsible for earning a profit or meeting a payroll. All of this from a guy who has never had any experience in an executive position, ever.
