Tar On My Leaves

I can't get close enough with my camera to show the dots. They're small, about the size of a spider mite or smaller, but they're not spider mites!
The have a shiny tar-like appearance and they don't move.
They are mostly on the lower younger leaves but they occasionally can be spotted alone on a random leaf somewhere. They don't seem to be spreading but they're not going away either. I have no idea how they're getting there!
I'm using House and Garden nutrients. The only other post I've seen like this has been by a person using the same nutrients so maybe there's a link somehow. It's not splash back from watering because I haven't fertilized these plants with H&G nutes yet. These are the best pictures I could get.

That's not a hole in the leaf. The picture doesn't do it justice.
It's a small, shiny, miniature slug-looking thing. They're all about that size or smaller. You can't wash it off with water and you can scrape it off with your nail or anything. Can someone help me please?

sounds like fly poop
I'm gonna have to rep you for that man. Good freakin call.
I'm not sure if it is or not, I'm gonna Google it right now, but I have a "fly problem" in my grow space.
I didn't think it was a problem because I was like "flys don't eat plants..." but they never leave and they're becoming a PITA.
Thanks man. I'm gonna hang some glue traps.

maybe it is a burn spot that is just raised, do you mist your plants? if so, don't do it when the lights are on.
