after you have seen what the plant will do. would'nt that be a better way to clone?. i realize it'd take longer for them to root but wouldnt it be worth it?. just keep takin yer cuts from yer biggest and most robust plants. please share yer experience if you have any.

You can try taking clones in flowering and a lot of times they end up bushing out a lot when you reveg them but you might have a harder time with hermies because of the stress

It takes longer for a clone taken in flowering to start regrowing, although they root in the same amount of time...and you could do it that way...I personally wouldn't...because it takes away from the biggest reason to use clones...which is the increased growth rate over a plant from seed...but if you have to give it time to reveg, then it just takes a while, much like a plant from seed...so...

The best clones are taken from the actively growing new branch tips. Take the clones from the fifth node or above and can be taken until a couple of weeks before flowering. Flowering cuttings will work, but are much harder to root and reverse.

Personally I would reveg the actual plant after harvest, and take clones from the new shoots. but your looking at 4 to 6 weeks for new shoots big enough to clone, then 7 -10 days for those to root.

well worth doing if want to keep her :leaf:

it just seems to me that if you continued to make mothers from cuttings of yer best plants. eventually you'd have about as good of a plant as you could get in that strain. simple as that.

reveg is out out the question. no need to do that. people tell me it only takes about 2 wks for these cuttings to grow roots.
