T5 Flower Bulb

I have a T5 4ft 8 tubes and I want to use it to flower my plants now my question is do I have to get all 8 flower light or will 4 flowering light and 4 veg light will do?

I used 6 bloom spectrum and 2 veg with decent result for a T5.

yeah you can mix the spectrum. it's one of the benefits of floro lighting. if your plants are more than 10'' tall i would reccomend some side lighting. a few cfls or t5 strips on the sides will make a major difference in your yeild. when i flowered with t5 i had about 70% bloom spectrum and 30% cool veg spectrum between all the lights. i would reccomend a bit of a higher ratio of warm to cool lights, but 50/50 will work fine.

I have the same setup for veggin and have 4 veg lights and 4 bloom

thanks for the help guys. I have a grow tent so it will get plenty of lights with the mylar.

turn on all the lights...
the more light the better.

I did mix first time and they came out great, this time after flowering started I went all 3,000k and with a week or so left they look even better.
