Switching from Soil to Hydro

Ok, so I have transplanted a once soil planted Super Silver Haze into an ebb and flow hydro system. I have successfully done this laborious transfer before but this time I was unable to clear all the soil away from the roots. I was wondering if anyione else has done this before and could see any future problems that may arise. Thank you in advance for any advice you can share.

ive never done this but if you soak the root ball in a pail of water and maybe some superthrive, just might loosen up and wash some of the soil away.

Potting soil is usually just peat. I think you'll be okay, but if I were you, I'd get a few clones a.s.a.p. and start over.

The transplant went very well and the plant is doing great but after all the work the plant ended up being a male. Like S&C said I did soak the plant and kindly massaged most of the dirt away. I am holding on to the male for a while for the genetics so not really a loss. Thanks for the advise and happy growing.
