Suspected nutrient burns and some other problem....

I'm using an aerogarden with a sun system 150W for my odyssey plant with an airstone...using the nutes from the basil kit....i think it's getting nutrient burns but other than that it's doing ok.It's been vegging for about a month now. The other two are sour diesel grown in potting soil....they've been there for 2-3 weeks and haven't grown at all. The bottom leaves are turning yellow and crumbling off. Not sure what's wrong with these? All three plants were grown from clones.

Thought i uploaded them on the first post...

root rot............. are there holes in the bottem of the bucket???
Yes there are. I tried to dig up one of the soil ones and put it in the aerogarden to save it....to my suprise...i couldn't....the roots seem to be growing very well but the plant isn't growing at all.....

As for nute burns... I haven't used any on the ones growing in soil....

Can I ask why there is water spilled on the top of the soil like that? I'm asking, because i hope you aren't watering them like that?

^Yeah, hard to kill, but also hard to get to grow vigorously.

Skip the feeding altogether, until they are at least 12" tall. There is enough soil is those 5 gallon bucket to veg those things to almost 2' tall, without adding any ferts.

AS i've said twice before...i haven't used any nutes on the ones in the buckets.......

Not sure what you meant you hope i'm not watering them like that....How do you water?...just pour it on the dirt right.........every 3rd day.....

I meant that you have to make sure you water them evenly, not just pour it on there in a couple random places. Try to cover them as evenly as possible, like the rain does when it rains outside. Dry spots are a big no-no.

Oh ok, i normally cover them pretty evenly...I dont know what that black is maybe a shadow? I haven't watered them since the day before yesterday...

What type of potting soil are u using? It looks like you got some PH problems goin on .
Does the soil have some type of slow release nutrients already in it like Miracle gro soil?
