As long as it doesn't dry out or freeze your good to go bro.
Maybe I'm reading into this... But, if the soil dries out, is that a problem that simply re-wetting won't fix? I've had a problem with a batch before and I always thought it was because I used too much water while cooking, so I thought I'd stay toward the drier side this time, but don't wanna blow it again!

You want it to be damp. As long as you can feel there is moisture in the soil, all is well. Are you still forming the web on top of your SS?
