I assume it's the same thing as liquid cal/mg?? why do you need the powdered?? I am having a few Mg problems right now myself, I added 1 tbs epsom salt per gal, I'm thinking there is too much calcium in my water...so I can't decide if I'll be adding 5ml/gal cal/mg soon or not...Ill see how the next few days go. Here's some of my babies in super soil since no one updates on these threads anymore!!!! Check out my roots organic supersoil grow journal in my signature!!!

Hey Sub. I've been looking around for a soil and noticed yours and am wanting to use what you came up with, but I have a few questions about it. I noticed that you said to add water after mixing everything together and let it sit for 30 days. Does that mean mix with water until it's damp then let dry over 30 days or flood it until soupy? Another question is I saw you said to add some type of sugar or carbs, but what about some type of shooting powder or hardener at the end? I've been going hydro for quite a while now (deep water culture) and I don't know anything about soil. Is there anything else I could put besides the recommended molasis and possibly shooting powder or ripener at the end? I average 3-4.5oz per plant and I'm wanting to experiment. I hear a lot about soil so here goes..

Good job SMH ! Did u use Azomite or did u find an substitute ? Best substitute I have seen suggested was glacial rock dust. And that was the only one I read all the posts on 5 different sites !

Everything is looking healthy, I'm going to wait until they're done to post my results in this thread. The original pics were from a previous grow, it was actually the first time I ran with Super Soil and I haven't looked back.

This is where you can check out the progress: Royal Revenge, Valencia, Big Foot, and some others

The plant in front is a BTK Kush from the indica leaning Royal Revenge mother

Man looking good....you didnt feed these guys from day one of transplant? Did you add any additives?

How did you let super soil 'cook' without risking pests from outdoors? Id like to start super soil, i am just worried about bringing in pests from outdoors during the cooking phase.

Do you cover the mix when cooking?

As long as you keep it moist, I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter. However, I would assume that a moist substrate covered for extended periods of time would induce mold. However, this may be beneficial if you supplement your soil with mycorrhizae. I covered mine with a clear tarp and mixed the pile up bi-weekly.

Hey, Sub. How's it, man?

You've stated that people should "take your methods and your ideas and make them your own." Well, I did that with your Supersoil recipe and grew some FIRE! (The only real changes I made was adding more Azomite than you did, replaced fish bone meal with regular bone meal, and instead of using 6 bags of Roots Organic, I used 4 bags of Roots, and 2 bags of Fox Farm Ocean Forest.(Im using all Roots, next time)

Anyways, I wanted to post a couple of pics showing the success I had with my little knockoff version of Supersoil...

Seedsmans Original Skunk #1...

Dinafems Powerkush...

Pretty sic, eh? Killer meds too, man!(The skunk was kinda' couchlocky tho.)

Thanx for all the help, brah.:-P
