Super confused about lighting and their plugs!

Hey guys, new to growing and to this forum! So, I am confused about getting started with an LED grow light. The only problem is, is that the plug looks to be a 277V! I simply cannot get an electrician out, and the more I look into finding ways to convert it so it will work in my 120V wall socket, the more craziness I see. How can I use this light, and a timer when I have a 277V plug to work with? I see something called step up/down converters, but none of them are for 277V, only 220-240V, and then there's all sorts of different options for them as well in regards of watts and voltage options

Am I missing something here? Or if there are better LED lights out there that use normal people plugs lol?

Well, I assume it a 277V plug since it says
in the item description.

Read the reviews. Sounds like folks received a standard 110 plug. But, the unit can accept a universal plug and run on 220. Just leave a message to the seller when you order for the plug type you need.

I'm a bit new at this stuffs. Does this mean it could run into a basic US 120V wall outlet? @coherent what does it mean when it can run on 220?
Oh! One more question. would it be bad to use this light for the entire grow tent? Is it bad to have several plants in different stages, since only this one light would be used Im assuming (regarding height placement and all)?

Standard basic 120v. it should come with a normal U.S. grounded plug. Some countries use higher voltages as their standard wall plugs. Your electrics stoves and dryers in the USA use single phase 220v. Lots of shops and garages have 220 plugs for tools and such. So with the correct plug you could use it there. The power supply automatically regulates the incoming AC voltage no matter what it is (100-277v ac) and supplies the correct DC low voltage to the LEDs.

This light will work for entire grow, both veg and flower. Height can be an issue with plants in different stages of growth. Also, for photo period plants you change to 12 on, 12 off for flowering. Veg plants will be 18/6 or longer. You can't mix veg and flower ing the same tent unless you grow autos which will flower on their own without reducing the daily light period length.

Good to know! Yeah, I'm starting with some white widow auto flowerings. I have some random seeds my friend gave me too, might move those to outdoor usage. I had a feeling that the tent would have to be exclusive to groups of my projects.

I have just found the cultivars I want to regrow, I'm thinking of one for whole tent, just not sure which one yet, usually I'm lucky to find one in four that nice, this time 3of4 are keepers. Not sure which direction to go yet, autos are fun but no faster than photos, my flower tent is 6 weeks in and I have auto still vegging, if she keeps this up ill be putting her in flower tent alone, 4x4. Weird iv smoked first seed of three already, one flowering one veg. Veg is getting huge for auto. Might get two grams off her when she flowers, lol.
