Sunrise Hi Low Hangers

I have a set of these on my 600HPS I have the plastic part "loops" around the hooks provided which are in the center of 2x4. Now I have a tent and not sure how to use these on my tent. It has 2 wide bars going across the top from the depth of the tent. Can I use these hangers in reverse without worry. Like put the plastic loops around the hanger pieces on the reflector good and then tie the other end to the grow tent bars?

yes you can do either, the loop of string on the end can also be tied to the bars on the top of the tent, and on my yo-yo hangers it had a hole punched out that fits right on the metal hangar pieces on the reflectors. BTW, I always felt really worried about using them and just recently went to Home depot and bought s hooks and 2 6 ft pieces of chain for like 6$, you can move i up any length easily with the S hooks and you do NOT have the risk of not tightening the hangars..

Just my 2 cents.

I must agree with dudeface about using chain in stead of expensive light hangers (yo-yo's). I almost shelled out the cash for some at 20$ a pop but decided agianst it and went with chain. It is very easy to move up and down buy slipping the link into an S hook or eyebolt that is bent open alittle. If you get real scared you can use a threaded C hanger, it is much like they use for climbing just alot smaller.

I get the yo-yo haners for $9.95. Also can get the ProGrip Ratchet ropes for under $20. I will be using the rope ratchets with my larger reflector when I get it. The yo-yo's I get with my light for another $10.00 so they should be fine for the mother room. Light will be kept pretty far away I assume. I have an air cooled hood in my bloom room and keep it like 7" above the canopy with no signs of stress and doesn't feel hot to my hand. The light for the tent has no flanges for air cooling and no glass lens.

chains are the way to go. you can go to home depot and get chain cut to your needs for very cheap. I have the ProGrip Ratchet Ropes and i love them. use the chains to affix the hangers to the bars in my tent.
